A pro-life pregnancy crisis centre in North Carolina was vandalised on Monday night, with threatening messages graffitied on the building.

Asheville Police Department were called to the Mountain Pregnancy Services just after 7 a.m. on Tuesday morning, to find a number of windows and doors smashed, and graffiti in red spray paint covered across the building.

The graffiti included various threatening messages against the center. One message posted on the front of the building read, “if abortions aren’t safe, neither are you!” A second message on the side read “no forced birth,” with other graffiti including anarchist symbols.

According to Asheville PD, forensic technicians discovered a bloody trail leading from the a broken window, leading police to believe that the offender injured themselves in the process of vandalising the building.

“There must be hate in their heart for them to want to harm us in this manner when they don’t even know who we are,” said Kristi Brown, the executive director of Mountain Pregnancy Services. “We treat our clients with love, respect, and honor, and to see someone purposefully treat us in the opposite manner is heart-breaking,” Brown told the Washington Examiner.

“We are grateful that our client rooms were not damaged and that we are able to continue providing services to women in need,” she added. “We are asking to people to pray for us with the emotions that an event like this produces, pray for rapid cleanup, and consider giving financially to help pay for the damage repair.”

The attack on the North Carolina pregnancy crisis center is only the latest in a string of pro-abortion violence conducted in the wake of the leaked Supreme Court draft opinion that would lead to the overturning of Roe v. Wade.

Last month, a memo from the Department of Homeland Security warned that radical abortion activists were likely to launch attacks on SCOTUS Justices, places of worship, pro-life protestors, and other pro-life targets.

Valiant News reported on Tuesday that a fire at the New York pregnancy help group CompassCare is being investigated by arson. CEO Jim Harden claimed it was firebombed by radical pro-abortion extremists to keep the group from helping mothers with unplanned pregnancies using methods other than abortion.

On May 8, the headquarters of Wisconsin Family Action faced an arson attack, with graffiti found at the scene reading “if abortions aren’t safe, you aren’t either,” along with symbols “typically used by anarchist violent extremists… to convey anti-law enforcement sentiment,” an almost identical set of messaging to the North Carolina attack.

A pro-life pregnancy centre in Texas was targeted one day later, and spray-painted with various messages including “forced birth is murder,” and “not a clinic.”
