A fire at the New York pregnancy help group CompassCare is being investigated by arson, and the company’s CEO claims it was firebombed by radical pro-abortion extremists to keep the group from helping mothers with unplanned pregnancies using methods other than abortion.
Local media reports that the Amherst Police Department is investigating the fire at CompassCare, which happened early this morning, as arson. Windows at the building were broken and a fire occurred inside, reported WGRZ. Graffiti reading “Jane Was Here” was also left on the building.

CompassCare CEO Jim Harden compared the firebombing to Nazi Germany in a statement released after the attack.
“This is the pro-abortion ‘Kristallnacht,'” said Harden, quoted by Students for Life President Kristan Hawkins on Twitter. He compared the attack to the Nazi pogrom of Jews that occurred in 1938.
Translated to the “Night of Broken Glass” in English, the event saw nearly 100 Jewish people killed by Nazi Party paramilitary troops and civilians as the German authorities – then under the grasp of genocidal dictator Adolf Hitler – ignored the violence. Other estimates claim as many as 600 lives were lost.
“Because of this act of violence, the needs of women facing unplanned pregnancy will go unmet and babies will die,” warned Harden.
He questioned whether New York Attorney General Letitia James, who frequently makes national headlines due to her high profile investigations of 45th President Donald Trump, “will investigate these cowardly criminals.”
Harden goes on to ask whether Gov. Hochul will veto the Pregnancy Center Investigation Bill and "whether Attorney General Letitia James will investigate these cowardly criminals."
He promises the center will rebuild, because women deserve better and children deserve protection.

Conservatives expressed fears that pro-abortion violence would increase after a draft Supreme Court opinion that would strike Roe v. Wade from the books and make it possible for states to fully ban abortion was leaked to Politico.
The leak was described as devastating by pundits on both sides of the aisle, with those on the left claiming – without evidence – that Justice Clarence Thomas or his office was responsible for the leak. Those on the right remain convinced that it was leaked by someone who sympathizes with the pro-abortion cause, and sought to make it a central issue heading into the 2022 midterm elections.
Most pundits agree believe that the leak is damaging to the Supreme Court, and is the first of its kind in recent memory.
