Samuel Brinton, the non-binary ex-nuclear waste management expert who worked for the Biden administration until it came out that he stole a female passenger’s luggage at the airport, was sentenced to zero time in jail and a minor fine for his crime.
Brinton, a biological male who shaves his head and wears lipstick, thus becoming non-binary, was responsible for helping to manage the country’s nuclear waste before being fired earlier this year as criminal cases proceeded.
It all began when he was accused of stealing a $2,325 Vera Bradley bag and its contents from a female airline passenger at the airport in Minneapolis-St. Paul, and it was later claimed that Brinton wore the clothes.
However, Brinton’s suspended sentence came as the result of a second case, which surfaced following multiple new accusers who have have claimed Brinton stole their luggage. This victim was robbed at Harry Reid International Airport.
Brinton pleaded no contest to the crime, a pleading that does not assert guilt or innocence, and was given a 180-day suspended sentence that will see him spend zero time behind bars. He is also ordered to pay the victim $3,670 in restitution.
Predictably, conservatives greeted the news with revulsion, shocked that the LGBT icon was given what they consider a slap on the wrist for the high profile crime.
In exchange for the sweetheart deal, the judge should have made Sam Brinton tell the truth in open court and apologize. He should have been required to detail every bag he has stolen over the years. Sam still faces 10 years in jail in another case. https://t.co/7xoGE7IZc3

Sam Brinton just shattered the glass ceiling as the first luggage stealing non-binary to have to pay its victim restitution of $3670 and get a suspended sentence of 180 days.

Biden’s former nuclear waste chief will serve NO jail time but is ordered to pay victim $3,670 for luggage theft.
Hey look, it's that LGBTQ privilege again. No real consequences for their actions, ever.https://t.co/tdIvFNOwfg

Generally, those given suspended sentences will be forced to serve their entire sentence if they are found to violate the law, or the court’s terms, during the suspended sentence.
Though Brinton is now separated from the Biden administration, the nuclear waste expert remained employed for weeks as legal proceedings unfolded. It remains unclear how the other cases against Brinton could impact the sentence.
Prior to firing Brinton, the Biden administration proudly described him as “a well-known advocate for LGBTQ youth and helped to secure protections against the dangerous and discredited practice of conversion therapy in more than half of the country” on its official website.
At the top of that website, the Biden administration instructed Americans that Brinton identifies “as gender-fluid and [uses] the pronouns they, them, and theirs.”
