KARI LAKE: Maricopa County’s ‘Incompetency’ or ‘Malice’ Will Only ‘Slow a Red Tsunami’

“I hope it’s not malice, but we’re going to fix it.”

Arizona gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake has blamed the voting problems seen in Maricopa County as “incompetency,” noting that voters in “liberal Phoenix” seemed to have had “zero problems with their machines today.”

Valiant News reported on Tuesday that many residents of Maricopa County were experiencing problems with voting machines, such as misprinted ballots that were not being tabulated, and other machines that simply weren’t working at all.

After casting her ballot, Lake, one of the most America First candidates in the country, asked reporters whether they thought “what’s happening in Maricopa County is normal,” as voters were experiencing “problems after problems.”

Lake noted that she was going to cast her ballot and speak to the press in a “pretty Republican area,” but was dismayed when she received calls from “voters in tears” who told her that tabulators weren’t functioning properly, and that their ballots were going to have to be counted downtown, which she noted was “not normal stuff.”

“We switched from a Republican area to vote – we came right down into the heart of liberal Phoenix to vote – because we wanted to make sure that we had good machines. And guess what? They’ve had zero problems with their machines today,” Lake claimed. “Not one machine spit out a ballot today. Not one. In a very liberal area.”

Lake demanded that those in charge of voting in Maricopa had to “fix this problem,” blaming it on “incompetency” in the system.

“I hope it’s not malice, but we’re going to fix it. We’re going to win, and when we win, there’s going to be a come to Jesus for elections in Arizona,” she added.

Despite the issues seen in Maricopa, Lake stayed confident. “Things are looking very good for us. They may be trying to slow a red tsunami, but it’s coming, and we are going to take back Arizona,” she said.

Lake’s opponent, Katie Hobbs, remains the Secretary of State for Arizona, overseeing the entire election process. The Arizona Republican reaffirmed her previous call for Hobbs to recuse herself from the election. “She’s unethical, she’s incompetent, but we’ve been asking her to do that since July of last year… We’re just going to see where things go,” she concluded.
