Dr. Rochelle Walensky, the director of the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has tested positive for COVID-19 for a second time this month after taking Pfizer’s Paxlovid despite having received five injections of the COVID-19 vaccine.
The Biden administration CDC Chief tested positive for COVID-19 earlier this month and went into isolation to take “appropriate action” for health, the agency confirmed.
On Monday, the agency announced that Walensky was experiencing “mild symptoms” even despite her five vaccinations, and had even tested negative for the virus after taking a round of the antiviral Paxlovid drug.

As of today, Walensky’s viral COVID-19 infection has since returned, including her symptoms.
“On Sunday, Dr. Walensky began to develop mild symptoms and has again tested positive. Consistent with CDC guidelines, she is isolating at home and will participate in her planned meetings virtually,” the agency said.

Walensky seems to be part of a trend of high profile Democrat and public health officials contracting COVID-19 despite being vaccinated, then catching it a second time despite taking Pfizer’s new drug.
Outgoing Biden White House chief medical adviser and NIAID Director Anthony Fauci and Joe Biden both tested positive for COVID-19 twice following a round of Paxlovid, Valiant News previously reported. The two were both quadruple vaccinated at the time of their infection.
Still, this has not stopped those same Democrats from continuing their calls for mass vaccination.
Just last week, Biden urged “fully vaccinated” individuals to receive the latest “updated” version of the COVID-19 vaccine and ultimately received it himself. However, the president did not distinguish what “fully vaccinated” even really means anymore, with regards Americans who elected to be injected with the first two, third, and fourth shots.
The CDC Director’s most recent bout with the virus comes amid revelations that Democrats and their state level parties across the United States contracted with a data firm that used COVID-19 messaging ahead of the 2020 election to identify Republican swing voters, who they found were more likely to comply with heavy handed messaging about government restrictions.
PredictWise, the firm in question, published a white paper revealing it surveilled hundreds of millions of Americans through cell phones to assign what they called “COVID-19 decree violation scores,” which utilized billions of global positioning system (GPS) pings to get “real-time, ultra-granular” location patterns, Valiant News reported on Monday.
