Former Dallas Federal Reserve Chair Richard Fischer today told NBC it appears House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and her husband, alongside other politicians, have used insider information to enrich themselves on the stock market.
“With regard to the House and the Senate, clearly people have taken advantage of inside information forever,” Fischer said on CNBC’s “Squawk Box” program. “I’m not guessing they’re tamping that down.”
The expert went on, “I’m sorry to see that Paul Pelosi and Nancy Pelosi and others appear, it’s all appearance now we don’t know the facts, appear to have taken advantage of inside information.” Fischer concluded, “So something needs to be done.”

The Gateway Pundit notes that Paul Pelosi bought up to $5 million in Nvidia stocks one day before Congress was set to vote on a bill to boost domestic production of semiconductors.
Following the public backlash, Pelosi dumped his Nvidia stock and suffered a loss of $341,365.
Pelosi recently fled from a podium, armed with a smirk, after a reporter asked if she fed insider information to her husband, alleged drunk driver Paul Pelosi, that allowed him to make extremely lucrative trades.
A reporter asked one week ago today, “Has your husband ever made a stock purchase or sale based on information he’s received from you?”
“No, absolutely not. Okay, thank you,” Pelosi retorted before hurrying away from the podium.

Last month Paul Pelosi was charged with driving while drunk and causing an injury in the process after he was arrested while driving at a blood alcohol level police say was well above the legal limit.
A press release from police stated that “A blood sample was taken from Mr. Pelosi at 12:32 am, and sent to the California Department of Justice for testing. Mr. Pelosi’s blood sample had a .082% blood alcohol content.”
“The charges filed today include Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol Causing Injury and Driving With .08% Blood Alcohol Level or Higher Causing Injury,” the statement continued. “Under California law, these charges can be filed as a misdemeanor or felony. Based upon the extent of the injuries suffered by the victim, the District Attorney filed misdemeanor charges. This decision is consistent with how our office handles these cases with similar injuries.”
Nancy Pelosi was elected in 1978 and has held office for 42 years and became the first female Speaker of the House in 2007. She is running for reelection, and should she win, will be 84 when completing her next term in office.
Pelosi and her husband are believed to have a net worth of around $114 million.
