Today the Easter Bunny separated President Joe Biden from a group of small children during the White House’s annual egg hunt, according to multiple videos now surfacing on social media.
Breitbart News White House reported Charlie Spiering posted video of the incident to Twitter, saying that the “Easter Bunny retrieves Joe Biden after he wanders off to talk to some children.”
The video shows the children’s character approaching Biden, who is distracted talking to a group of youngsters and the adults behind them, then gesture for the 46th President to leave the children and return to the event. Biden, perhaps confused by the 6-foot rabbit’s gestures, appeared to gesture for the Easter Bunny to hug him. The Bunny did not take him up on the offer.

More videos are now surfacing showing the event, including one that reveals he was talking to the children and their parents for around 20 seconds before being interrupted by the Easter Bunny.
After being interrupted, Biden takes a few steps to his right, then stares toward the cameras, then takes a few steps to his left.
This video shows Biden from the front, and appears to show him reacting with surprise as the Easter Bunny appears.

Biden has had a series of high profile confusing moments, including when he said American troops were going to Ukraine, and when he seemed to suggest using chemical weapons against Russia. The White House was forced to issue corrections each time, though Biden later denied that either event took place.
More recently, Biden finished a speech then began to look around the stage with his hand outstretched as if waiting for a handshake.
After realizing he was alone on an empty stage, Biden wandered around briefly before leaving the event.

While it’s known what impact these events are having on the Biden administration’s approval ratings, those ratings have been in a solid decline since he assumed office and are now in the low 30s as Americans expect answers from the White House on everything from inflation to the war in Ukraine.
