President Joe Biden has denied telling U.S. troops that they are going to Ukraine, the press that the U.S. would respond “in kind” to a chemical weapons attack from Russia, and that he called for regime change in Russia while in Poland, despite all of the remarks being made in front of the entire world on video during his trip to Europe.
During a press conference, Fox News reporter Peter Doocy asked Biden why his administration repeatedly walked back his inflammatory and shocking statements regarding Russia following his latest trip overseas.
“Are you worried that other leaders in the world are going to start to doubt that ‘America is back’ if some of these big things that you say on the world stage keep getting walked back?” Doocy asked Biden.
Biden asked Doocy what what was being walked back, to which Doocy replied that “It sounded like you told U.S. troops they were going to Ukraine. It sounded like you said it was possible the U.S. would use a chemical weapon, and it sounded like you were calling for regime change in Russia.”
Biden flatly denied that any of this happened.
“None of the three occurred,” Biden said.
“You interpret the language that way,” said Biden, appearing to search for his words. “I was talking to the troops. We were talking about helping train the troops in, that are, the, the, Ukrainian troops that are in Poland. That’s what the context. I sat there with those guys for a couple hours. That’s what we talked about.”
“I was referring to with, meeting with and talking with Ukrainian troops that were in Poland,” Biden added.
Doocy: "The big things you say on the world stage keep getting walked back."
Biden: "What's getting walked backed?"

Regarding his previous threat to use chemical weapons, Biden reaffirmed that the U.S. response to Russia using chemical weapons would be “significant,” but refused to elaborate further.
Despite Biden’s brazen denial, he did in fact tell U.S. troops in Poland that they should expect to see Ukrainian bravery first hand when they get there.
“Ukrainian people have a lot of backbone, they have a lot of guts,” Biden told the troops on Friday. “But also the average citizen,” said Biden.
“Look at how they’re stepping up,” he continued. “And you’re gonna see when you’re there, and some of you have been there.”
Joe Biden, perhaps accidentally, tells US troops they're going to Ukraine.
"You’re going to see when you’re there," he told 82nd Airborne Division in Poland.

The White House immediately rebutted the president following the controversial remarks, stating that “the president has been clear we are not sending US troops to Ukraine and there is no change in that position.”
Despite Biden’s denial that he suggested the U.S. would use chemical weapons against Russia, Biden did in fact suggest that the U.S. would use chemical weapons against Russia.
.@JoeBiden puts us all at risk by threatening a chemical attack against Russia if they used them
"It would trigger a response in kind"

After a day of speculation about the U.S. potentially unleashing chemical weapons on Russians via NATO, White House national security adviser Jake Sullivan clarified that Biden had “no intention” of using chemical weapons on Russians.
Apparently, according to Sullivan, Biden actually meant that the administration and NATO will “respond accordingly” and Russia would pay a “severe price,” Valiant News reported.
In a speech delivered at the Royal Castle in Warsaw, Poland on Saturday, Biden also demanded regime change in Russia and warned that the conflict in Ukraine may take years, despite his denials and damage control efforts from his administration.
“For God’s sake, [Vladimir Putin] cannot remain in power,” Biden declared at the end of his speech.

The Biden administration then claimed that Biden was referring to Putin’s use of the Russian military outside its borders.
“The President’s point was that Putin cannot be allowed to exercise power over his neighbors or the region. He was not discussing Putin’s power in Russia or regime change,” they said.
