A state legislator in Australia has alleged that young girls are being told to ask their fathers about “erections and ejaculation” as homework.
Bernie Finn, a member of the upper house of the Victorian state parliament in Australia, read out a letter from a constituent of his earlier this week, which left him “absolutely shocked.”
“I thought I’d seen everything, but this one is just beyond words,” Finn said, reading out the letter from the mother of a 10-year-old girl, whose daughter had been given a worksheet to take home which allegedly contained vile instructions.
“Part of her homework was to discuss with her father his erections and ejaculation. I find this very disturbing and sickening,” read Finn. “I have complained to the school and was told it was just part of the curriculum… My daughter still plays with dolls and writes letters to the tooth fairy. There is no way any little girl should be told to ask these questions.”

Finn, who has represented the Western Metropolitan Region of Melbourne since 2006, exploded when discussing the letter publicly with the Victorian Minister for Education, Labor MP James Merlino. “What the hell is going on in this state when 10-year-old girls are told to go home and talk to your father about his erections and ejaculations?” Finn exclaimed:
“How the hell are we supposed to protect our kids when this sort of perversion is in our schools? This is what is being dished up to them on a daily basis in a primary school – not even a secondary school – a primary school. This is just unbelievable. It’s staggering.”
A father of three daughters himself, Finn said that any of them would be “traumatised for life” if any of them received the worksheet as homework. “I don’t think they’d ever recover. I’m not sure I’d ever recover,” he added.
Finn further slammed it as being “deplorable,” but that it was just another part of “the ongoing war by the Andrews government against children, in particular, in this state.” He went on to demand an “urgent investigation” from the Ministry of Education “to remove this material” from the Victorian curriculum.
The viral video comes as the debate around appropriate discussions for children regarding sex has become prominent across the West.
As Valiant News reported, Florida HB 1557, which has been dubbed the “Anti-Grooming Bill” by supporters and the “Don’t Say Gay” bill by critics, prohibits prohibits teachers from discussing sexuality with very young students. Openly gay teachers claimed they were “scared” as a result of the bill passing.
Last month, four women from rural Kentucky were exposed online for running “Sexy Sex Ed,” a “sexy summer camp” for young children where they receive “hands on” instruction on how to masturbate, among other horrors.
