President Joe Biden appeared lost and disoriented following a speech in which he refused to drop out of the presidential race, despite widespread panic and calls from within his own party to resign.
The President, who has faced mounting criticism over his performance in a recent debate against former President Donald Trump, shuffled around with a glazed look in his eyes, at one point appearing to ask a staff member, “Where am I going?”

As Tom Petty’s “I Won’t Back Down” played over loudspeakers, the lyric “there ain’t no easy way out” seemed to strike an ironic chord, given Biden’s current predicament.

The President’s appearance has sparked renewed concerns about his ability to lead the country, with many questioning whether he is fit to serve another term in office.
“I am the nominee of the Democratic Party,” Biden snapped during his speech, refusing to bow out of the race despite mounting pressure from Democrat Party donors and left-wing media figures. “I’m the nominee of this party because millions of Democrats like you voted for me in primaries all across America. You voted for me to be your nominee, no one else. You, the votes — the voters, did that.”
“Despite that, some folks don’t seem to care who they voted for, well guess what? They’re trying to push me out of the race,” Biden continued. “Let me say this as clearly as I can — I am staying in the race! I will beat Donald Trump! I will beat him again in 2020! By the way, we will do it again in 2024. I learned long ago when you get knocked down, you get back up.”
