In a recent monologue, Fox News host Jesse Watters strongly criticized President Joe Biden for authorizing the FBI to raid the Mar-a-Lago home of former President Donald Trump.
Watters accused the Biden administration of sending armed federal agents to ransack the bedrooms of Trump’s wife and son, while simultaneously complaining about criticism of his son, Hunter Biden, and his documented struggles with crack cocaine addiction.
“Think about this for a second: Joe Biden sent men with guns to his political opponent’s house and turned their bedrooms upside down,” Watters said. “That’s never happened in the history of the United States. And we’ve had some crazy presidents.”
The raid on Mar-a-Lago, conducted in August 2022, was part of an investigation into the alleged mishandling of classified documents by Trump. The decision to authorize the use of “deadly force” during the raid has sparked significant controversy and concern among conservatives, with many arguing that it represents a dangerous overreach of power by the Biden administration.

Watters specifically highlighted the impact of the raid on the family members of the former president, stating, “This was the former first lady and a professional model. These people are sick.” He also drew a stark contrast between the treatment of Trump’s family and the privacy concerns raised by the Biden administration regarding Hunter Biden’s personal life.
“And Biden complains about his son’s privacy? Hunter’s?” Watters asked. “He had armed men rummage through Barron’s bedroom. The FBI even allegedly had a medic on site in case someone was shot.”
The controversy surrounding the Mar-a-Lago raid and the authorization of deadly force comes at a time of heightened political tension, with the 2024 presidential election on the horizon.
