Former Vice President Mike Pence has announced that he will not endorse Donald Trump for president in the 2024 election.
“It should come as no surprise that I will not be endorsing Donald Trump this year,” Pence said to Fox News host Martha MacCallum.
“Look, I’m incredibly proud of the record of our administration. It was a conservative record that made America more prosperous, more secure and saw conservatives appointed to our courts in a more peaceful world. That being said, during my presidential campaign, I made it clear there were profound differences between me and President Trump on a range of issues, not just our difference on my constitutional duties that I exercised on January 6th.”

“Donald Trump is pursuing and articulating an agenda that is at odds with the conservative agenda that we governed on during our four years,” Pence claimed. “That’s why I cannot in good conscience endorse Donald Trump in this campaign.”
Pence went on to admit that “Republican primary voters have made it clear, Martha, who they’re for in this election.”
Despite his past service as Trump’s vice president, Pence has struggled to gain traction in the Republican Party since leaving office. His favorability ratings within the party are low, and he performed poorly in the GOP primary, where he was one of many candidates who were overshadowed by Trump.
Many have noted Pence’s decision is tantamount to an endorsement for President Joe Biden.
Mike Pence had the chance to restore some credibility with the conservative grassroots by endorsing Donald Trump.
He has declined to do so. Instead, he will be defacto supporting Joe Biden's re-election.
What a cowardly, pompous little squirt he is.pic.twitter.com/cNMaZgwC9e
