Yesterday news broke that 45th President Donald Trump was indicted by special counsel Jack Smith, yet again, this time in Washington, D.C. over crimes he allegedly committed while contesting the results of the 2020 election.

Trump is scheduled to appear on court on August 3 after being indicted on four criminal charges claiming he conspired to defraud the United States and obstruct an official proceeding. The latter charge is assigned to virtually every January 6 defendant, and despite never being used in this fashion before, has resulted in hefty sentences for virtually every defendant. CNN also reported that Trump is charged with a post-Civil War law prohibiting conspiracies to prevent “the right to vote and have one’s vote counted.”

On Truth Social, Trump thanked his supporters, writing that he has “never had so much support on anything before.” He noted that it was “unprecedented” for a sitting president’s Department of Justice to indict “the leading candidate” standing in his way of reelection, but said the display “has awoken the world to the corruption, scandal, and failure that has taken place in the United States for the past three years.”

“America is a nation in decline,” wrote Trump, “but we will make it great again, great than ever before. I love you all!”

Trump released an official campaign statement via Truth Social last night, which called the indictment “the latest corrupt chapter” by the Biden administration “and their weaponized Department of Justice to interfere with the 2024 presidential election.”

The campaign wrote that Trump “will not be deterred by disgraceful and unprecedented political targeting” while emphasizing the strengths of his presidency.

Trump first confirmed the news of the indictment on Truth Social, writing, “Why didn’t they do this 2.5 years ago? Why did they wait so long?” The 45th president answered, “Because they wanted to put it right in the middle of my campaign.”

In another post, Trump noted the indictment came “the day after the Crooked Joe Biden SCANDAL, one of the biggest in American history, broke out in the Halls of Congress,” referring to the explosive testimony of former Hunter Biden business associate Devon Archer.

Archer told Congress that Ukrainian energy firm Burisma only employed him and Hunter – who was paid more than $80,000 per month – because of their access to Joe Biden, then the vice president and point man for U.S. foreign policy in Ukraine. Archer confirmed that the elder Biden spoke on at least 20 phone calls with the energy executives before Biden pressured the Ukrainian government to fire a prosecutor who was investigating the company.

Trump was assigned District Judge Tanya Chutkan, an appointee of 44th President Barack Obama, who is known for being the only judge to give January 6 defendants sentences that are higher than prosecutors requested. According to CNN, she previously ruled against the Trump legal team’s effort to prevent the partisan January 6 committee from reviewing more than 700 pages of documents, writing “Presidents are not kings, and Plaintiff is not president.”

We all know the judge’s background.
It’s hard to believe that we are living in America since she has not recused herself.

All of the people involved in this need to be prosecuted and lose their law license when we get President Trump back in the White House.
I think Biden should be arrested for what he has done, he has sold us out to foreign countries and that has to be a criminal offense.C
