In a bold political move, Georgia State Senator Colton Moore is spearheading an effort to impeach Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis, who recently charged former President Donald Trump with nearly two dozen crimes in the state. The Republican lawmaker has called for an emergency legislative session to scrutinize Willis’ actions.
Moore, representing the northwest corner of Georgia, has been vocal in his criticism of Willis. He believes her investigation into Trump is politically motivated and alleges misuse of her position as a prosecutor. To expedite his cause, Moore has circulated an online petition encouraging citizens to support and call for an investigation into Willis, according to reports from Douglas Now.
Moore’s request for a special session aims to put Willis under the microscope, as he seeks to defund and impeach her. However, this move has been met with resistance. Governor Brian Kemp has given a cold shoulder to these efforts, indicating reluctance to convene a special session, as reported by The Washington Times.
Breitbart News reported that Moore’s letter to Kemp stated “in our opinion an emergency exists in the affairs of the state, requiring a special session to be convened” for “the review and response to the actions of Fanni Willis.”
The impeachment effort launched by Moore highlights the deep political divide that continues to ripple through Georgia and the nation at large. Newsweek reports that Moore’s call for action has garnered attention as an emergency measure within the GOP, spotlighting the ongoing tension surrounding Trump’s indictment.
Fani Willis, the lead prosecutor on the Trump case, has found herself in the crosshairs of Georgia Republicans who view her investigation into the former President as a partisan move. Moore’s impeachment campaign is part of a broader Republican strategy to challenge the legitimacy of Willis’ investigation and its potential implications for Trump.
Despite the controversy, Moore remains steadfast in his mission. As reported by The New Republic, Moore stated, “As a Georgia State Senator, I am officially calling for an emergency session to review the actions of Fani Willis.”
This unfolding story is a testament to the enduring political turbulence in the wake of Trump’s presidency. With Moore leading the charge against Willis, the stage is set for a contentious showdown in Georgia’s political arena. The outcome could have far-reaching implications for the future of political accountability and the rule of law in the state.
Trump is planning a press conference to discuss Georgia voter fraud on August 21.

Be aware that this woman’s notorious jail in Fulton County is beyond FILTHY, Full of rodents, bed bugs etc. etc. Thank God that this Circus called impeachment of 18 people plus Trump has happened. Fannie Willis should spend a week in her own jail for punishment! She will regret the day she did this. Now, because of Trump all of her evils are being revealed. Her father was a Black Panther leader!!!

Governor Kemp, stand up and be a leader for the citizens of Georgia. Call for a special legislative session to support Sen. Moore’s impeachment of the Atlanta DA Fani Willis. Wallis is supported by a famous Nazi sympathizer, George SOROS. Willis campaigned not on the horrible crime statistics in Atlanta and Fulton County but from the outset has set her sites on President Trump to go after. You owe President Trump sir and pay up time has arrived.

Governor Kemp, in not supporting this plan for impeachment, may be showing his vindictiveness towards Trump for his hostility towards Kemp. Governor, is it worth it to support an AG, who obviously is
Soros supported woke AG.

I don’t support Soros, in fact if he passed it would be good for our country. The truth is that when the Nazis took over Germany in 1939 Soros was just 9 years old. When Germany was defeated he was 15. He wasn’t a Nazi sympathizer. As a Jew he wouldn’t have been able at that time. Don’t be like the Demwits.

Kemp is no more than a democrat pretending to be a republican. Georgia needs to get rid of Kemp and Wallis. Send both to the curb.

If a Democrat had allegedly did the things that Trump did, would they not choose to prosecute this person based on the allegations? Could not this person allege this was merely partisan?? Let a court of law decide. This is in no way partisan but pursuit of justice and support for the Constitution and the rule of law. Otherwise, ANY prosecution can be deemed partisan. Kemp and Rasenburger, is the reason for this clown show unfolding, the man is a joke, the people voted aginst Abrams, not for you. Kemp can run off at the mouth about the 2020 election, being with out fraud, how about the supposedly water leak , At State farm center, shutting down sending conservatives home, then pulling out all of those boxes, under those tables, and the cheat was on.Cobb county broke the law by not maintaining ballots, they burned them, The settlement with the courts with crooked Rasenburger, to have drop boxes, the courts and Rasenburger broke the law, they dont make laws, only the legislature. There are quite of missteps in 2020 election, and to say it was fair , is an out and out lie.

Perhaps the action taken by Senator Moore will start a trend. It’s past time for more non corrupt government leaders to step up and ACTUALLY speak out!!!
Take a moment to e mail or write to your elected officials with words of encouragement.👍
