Drag queens marching in an LGBT Pride parade in New York controversially chanted “we’re coming for your children” in a video that is quickly going viral online.
As conservatives and liberals debate whether the LGBT movement and transgender ideology are being pushed on children, a group of drag queens marching in a New York pride event asserted that they are, in fact, coming for America’s children.
“We’re here, we’re queer, we’re coming for your children,” the marchers chanted according to video obtained by Timcast News.

Conservatives reacted with a mix of bemusement, horror, and dark comedy.
Internet pundit DC Draino contrasted the public messaging regarding Drag Queen Story Hour and the LGBT movement with the chant in the video and other Twitter users echoed the sentiments.

Others claimed the protesters do not represent most gays and lesbians.
“We are not ‘coming for your children'” wrote one user on Twitter. “The vast majority of us are sensible and fairly average people. We are not whatever this mess is.”

Though the video shocked many conservatives who viewed it, this is not the first time members of the LGBT movement have promised to convert children to their cause.
In 2021, the San Francisco Gay Men’s Chorus released a Covid-19-era video titled “A Message From the Gay Community” which promised to “convert your children.”
Lyrics in the video explicitly promise to convert children to become LGBT advocates:
You think we’re sinful. You fight against our rights. You say we all lead lives you can’t respect. But you’re just frightened. You think that we’ll corrupt your kids if our agenda goes unchecked. It’s funny. Just this once, you’re correct.
The men then directly promise to “convert your children”:
We’ll convert your children. Happens bit by bit. Quietly and subtly, and you will barely notice it. You can keep him from disco, warn about San Francisco. Make him wear pleated pants. We don’t care. We’ll convert your children. We’ll make them tolerant and fair.
The choir quickly hid the video as controversy mounted, but most contemporary media reports focus on alleged death threats received by the men. The video remains available on YouTube at press time.
While some may expect LGBT Pride themed events to conclude in the next few days as the end of June approaches, transgender Admiral Rachel Levine recently decreed that Pride month will continue to become a “Summer of Pride”.
