Melania Trump, the former first lady of the United States, has announced her support for her husband’s potential 2024 presidential campaign despite rumors she is leery about a return to the White House.
Speaking to Fox News Digital, Melania expressed her belief that 45th President Donald Trump had the ability to lead the country towards prosperity once again. “My husband achieved tremendous success in his first administration, and he can lead us toward greatness and prosperity once again,” she said. “He has my support, and we look forward to restoring hope for the future and leading America with love and strength.”
Trump promised to reinvigorate her Be Best campaign to advocate for children should she have the “privilege” to serve as first lady again.

“My focus would continue to be creating a safe and nurturing space for children to learn, grow, and thrive,” she said. “If additional problems arise, I will take the time to study them and understand their root causes. My goal would be to ensure that every child has the support and resources they need to reach their full potential.”
The former first lady’s commitment to children’s issues has also been a consistent theme throughout her time in the public eye.
During her tenure as first lady, she launched the Be Best initiative to promote children’s well-being, with a particular focus on issues such as cyberbullying and opioid abuse. Her continued emphasis on this area could help to position her as a leading voice on children’s issues within the Republican Party.

Trump’s Be Best campaign was launched in May 2018 and centered around three key areas of focus: well-being, online safety, and opioid abuse. The campaign aimed to promote positive behavior among children and encourage responsible online behavior while also supporting those affected by the opioid epidemic. Through Be Best, Melania Trump traveled across the country, visiting schools and community centers to promote her message of well-being and positivity.
Her statements come as the Republican Party appears to be coalescing around Trump as their likely nominee in 2024, with a report published this week explaining that several Senate Republicans now view his nomination as “inevitable.”
