Rick Wilson, the founder of the anti-Trump Lincoln Project, advises Republican hopefuls to call off their campaigns and accept the fact that 45th President Donald Trump will be the nominee following last night’s CNN Town Hall.
“Whatever the f**k they thought they were going to get out of this, they instead have set a match to democracy once again,” Wilson exclaimed in a video posted to Twitter.
“You are letting an insane person stand there and make people giggle and laugh when he jokes about rape, make people giggle and laugh when he jokes about abortion. When he calls an African-American police officer a thug.”
After directing his ire at the former president, Wilson went on to criticize CNN – and its new CEO, Chris Licht – for giving Trump a platform.

“This insanity should be pulled off the f**king air, Chris Licht, you should be ashamed of yourself. This is astoundingly bad for the brand of CNN, it’s astoundingly bad for the country, and it’s astoundingly bad, honestly folks, for every other Republican candidate in the primaries.”
Wilson then advised Nikki Haley, Ron DeSantis, and any other Republicans challenging Trump for the Republican nomination to call it quits.
“Wrap that sh*t up, it’s done. You saw this tonight, you know you can’t beat him on the stage,” said Wilson to his former colleagues in the Republican political world. “Everybody else? Oars up, time to go to work, because he’s going to be the nominee.”
He cursed, “This shit is un-f**king-believable, I’ve never seen anything like it. It is a disaster of the highest f**king degree.”
In a separate post, Wilson declared that DeSantis will stand no chance against Trump.
Also, this guy will tear off Ron DeSantis’s head on stage, kick it around like a soccer ball, dance with his headless corpse, and shit down his neck.
Dear God.

Several moments from Trump’s CNN Town Hall went viral last night, as the former president confronted an unabashedly liberal line of questioning from Collins to the delight of the conservative audience in the room.

Powerful moment:
CNN: "Do you want Ukraine to win this war?"
Trump: "I don’t think about it in terms of winning and losing, I think in terms of getting it settled so we stop killing all these people."
