45th President Donald Trump said that if he were still in office, he could have negotiated a peace deal between Russia and Ukraine “within 24 hours.”
Speaking to a campaign rally in South Carolina on Saturday, Trump slammed Joe Biden for bringing America “to the brink of World War III” through his “weakness and incompetence” in handling the situation.
“We’re at the brink of World War III, just in case anybody doesn’t know it,” Trump said. “As president, I will bring back peace through strength. Peace through strength, would have never happened. If I was president, there would not have been a war with Russia and Ukraine, zero chance.”

Despite the “tremendous loss of lives and destruction” in Ukraine, Trump argued that he could have a peace deal between Russia and the embattled nation completed “within 24 hours.” He added that such a deal was “waiting to be done” right now, but “there’s nobody to do it.”
Last week, Trump warned against the West escalating the conflict in Ukraine by sending tanks. “FIRST COME THE TANKS, THEN COME THE NUKES,” Trump said in a statement posted to Truth Social on Thursday morning. “Get this crazy war ended, NOW!” he added. “So easy to do!”
Despite Trump’s warning, the Ukrainian government is now set to push the West to hand over fighter jets. “If we get them, the advantages on the battlefield will be just immense,” said Yuriy Sak, an adviser to the Ukrainian Defence Minister. “It’s not just F-16s: fourth generation aircraft, this is what we want.”
Earlier in his campaign speech, Trump declared that the 2024 presidential election was so important, because Biden had “put America on the fast track to ruin and destruction,” and that the next election was the “one shot to save our country.”
“We need a fighter who can stand up to the left, who can stand up to the swamp, stand up to the media, stand up to the deep state. Am I allowed to say stand up to the RINOs too?” Trump quipped. “I can think we can say that! Stand up to the globalists, and China, and stand up for America. That’s what we do.”

I read the article, and found no plan. I believe Valiant News misrepresented the article.

I largely credit Biden his disastrous Afghanistan bug-out for giving Putin the temptation to just seize the rest of Ukraine. I agree with Trump in the White House, he would have thought very, very hard before taking such a step. Regardless, peace cannot come now with just the snap of a finger. Too much blood spilled, and with the Russian record of mass executions and graves in Buchka and Irpin and mass bombardment of civilians, the Ukrainians are not in a forgiving mood. Cutting off aid and handing them to Putin on a platter is not going to win us friends or any allies in the future. Plus, never underestimate the fact the Chinese are paying close attention. Will there be all this angst when they decide to take Taiwan?

Trump shouldn’t flatter himself. Trump is going to stop the war within 24 hours? I doubt it. Peace through strength. I don’t see Putin shaking in his boots. Voters shouldn’t put all their eggs in one basket. Trump is not a cure all fix all. Beware of any politician that claims he is going to fix it all. Politicians especially Trump, like to hear themselves talk. There is no halo over Trump’s head. For all anyone knows, Trump could wind up in Bernie Madoffs old cell.
