A new report by the Daily Mail has revealed that Joe Biden is building a $500,000 wall around his beach house in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, and the American people are footing the bill.
Last week, Bidens large and affluent beach property began undergoing construction for expensive and robust “privacy fencing” that featured large gray stone pillars and tall white fences.
Today, the property boasts a frontward “half-wall” of gray stones that includes an opening where cars can enter the house’s driveway.
According to the Daily Mail, Biden’s wall cost nearly half a million dollars.

“So, walls work at Joe Biden’s beach house, but not the southern border?’ Representative Jim Jordan (R-OH) tweeted.
Biden’s beach house wall was first reportedly planned in 2021 after the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) permitted a contract for “additional security barriers at the president’s private residence at the beach in Delaware,” the Daily Mail noted.
Biden’s wall will cost taxpayers $490,324, nearly $34,000 more than its original price, possibly due to inflation and supply chain delays.
The report notes that the Biden administration has removed metal shipping containers along the U.S. southern border that were put in place by former Republican Governor Doug Ducey as a defacto “wall” amid a record-breaking surge in illegal border crossings since Biden took office in January 2021.
Biden paid a visit to the southern border last week for the very first time since moving into the White House after announcing a series of new immigration policies, which included continuing the Title 42 expulsion policy put in place by 45th President Donald Trump, and allowing 30,000 Cuban, Haitian, and Nicaraguan migrants to enter America.

Republicans in Washington accused Biden of using the border wall built by President Trump as a “photo op.”
As the Biden administration finally purports itself to be an advocate for border security, remarks made by the Mexican President have challenged their narrative in recent days.
Speaking to a group of reporters this week, Mexican President Andrés Manuel López Obrador told Biden, “President Biden, you are the first president of the United States in a very long time that has not built, not even one meter of wall, and that, we thank you for that, sir.”
