BREAKING: MTG Lands Key Position On Homeland Security Committee, Enraging Corporate Media

MTG appointment scores key blow against her detractors in both Democrat and Republican circles.

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) was appointed to the Homeland Security Committee on Tuesday, sparking outrage among left-wing activist chapters of the corporate press.

Greene had previously been stripped of her committee assignments, but has become closer to House Speaker Kevin McCarthy in recent weeks during the GOP’s short-lived battle over Speaker nominations.

News that Greene would once again be on a prestigious committee was not received well by Joe Biden fans and left-wing journalists.

As a member of Congress from Georgia’s 14th District, Greene ran as a pro-Trump Republican candidate in the 2020 and 2022 election cycles, and won her district by a large margin.

Ms. Greene is an outspoken proponent of conservative policies on immigration, national security, and foreign policy matters. During her campaign she said that she wants to “secure our borders, defend American jobs and put America first” – themes echoed by many other conservative politicians.

Ms. Greene has positioned herself as a highly vocal critic of the Biden administration since they took office in January 2021. She has frequently lambasted President Biden’s approach to border security, claiming that he has weakened it since taking office.

In addition, she has accused the president and his allies of fostering divisiveness by enacting policies which she believes give preference to certain groups over others – notably illegal immigrants over citizens or legal residents of the United States.

The Homeland Security Committee would be an ideal platform for Ms Green to continue her work advocating for her conservative principles on issues related to homeland security. Since being appointed to the committee, Ms Green has already expressed support for efforts to increase resources dedicated towards border protection and stricter enforcement measures along our southern border with Mexico – both priority issues for many Republican lawmakers this year.

I carefully consider anything the Lincoln Project says. I really do. Then I do the complete opposite. Pretty safe way to be correct. With these appointments maybe we’ll have a safe and secure border.

“Republican Congresswoman Maria Salazar says at the WEF that we need to “give dignity” to the “13-15 million” illegals living in America.”

NO, we don’t. We need to give them a bus ticket back to Mexico or wherever they came from. WTF makes her think we can absorb millions of illegal-alien-invaders??? Especially when we have LEGAL, U.S. jobless/homeless Citizens starving on the streets.
Not only that, these illegal invaders are ungrateful savages.

BRAVO !!! The Republicans need good , strong Conservatives like MTG , Brobert and Golsar on these important committees. They have the fight in them to really dig into the Biden crime family . In 2024 , people need to fill the House , Senate with Republicans and put President Trump back in the White House. If that happens , Trump could , and will, clean out the CROOKED F.B.I. , DOJ, FDA, CDC, deport all the ILLEGALS , build the wall, open back up all the pipelines, bury the green deal garbage, and get back the strength and respect OUR country deserves !!
