President Joe Biden’s assertion that he will not visit the US southern border because “there are more important things” going on has received backlash from many sectors of the populace, including inside the US Border Patrol.
Biden’s remarks came after he was asked why he refuses to visit the border during an event in Arizona, just a few miles from the line of demarcation between the US and Mexico.

Multiple Border Patrol agents shared their outrage at Biden’s claim with the Daily Caller News Foundation this week.
“MORE IMPORTANT THINGS? This is HIS disaster, he created this catastrophe,” one agent told the DCNF in a text message. “The border crisis is a total breach of National Security. Give me a f**king break…I can’t wait for this clown to be out of office.”
In reference to Biden, the agent added “He’s straight up in denial.”
Another Border Patrol agent told the DCNF that Biden’s words are “another example of how delusional he is.”
“It’s in their narrative to downplay the destabilization of the U.S.” the agent said. “What could possibly be more important than criminals and terrorists infiltrating the country and tens of thousands of fentanyl overdoses, mostly being young adults.”
Biden committed another trademark gaffe while delivering remarks in Arizona this week, bungling a phrase about “nanochips.”
“It will construct a second fab [sic] in Phoenix to build chips, three nanochips, three nanochip, chips that are three nano,” Biden stuttered. “Any – you know what I’m saying. Nano-nono, I don’t know.”
The 80-year-old President’s gaffe did not receive any attention from the corporate media, was widely noticed on social media.
