Valiant News reported Wednesday afternoon that an explosion rocked the controversial Georgia Guidestones, reducing one of the pillars to a pile of stone and powder, and now more footage has surfaced that appears to show the moment one of the pillars was destroyed by an explosion.
In the video that appears to have been recorded via security footage early Wednesday morning, a large explosion can be observed, sending dust, powder, and chunks of stone around the monument.

The Georgia Guidestones were totally demolished on Wednesday afternoon, over 12 hours after an unknown explosive device destroyed one of the pillars early in the morning.
The Georgia Guidestones are now completely leveled. We saw a back hoe push them down around 4:45 p.m. The @GBI_GA believes a someone blew them up around 4 a.m. They've been in this field for more than 40 years & included life principles in 12 languages.@11AliveNews pic.twitter.com/75Hd8MmsEF

Authorities are still investigating the incident and the Georgia Bureau of Investigation claims that “unknown individuals” detonated an explosive device at the monument in the early morning.
It has since been confirmed that the pillar containing English has been destroyed.
Valiant News previously reported that the funding behind the creation of the Georgia Guidestones are unknown. The monument sits approximately 100 miles outside of Atlanta and was erected mysteriously in March of 1980.
Conservatives and critics alike have questioned the purpose and intent of the Georgia Guidestones for decades. YouTube commentator Mark Dice openly called for them to “be smashed into a million pieces” then “used for a construction project,” and claimed they have “a deep Satanic origin.”
In 2020, radio and TV host Alex Jones claimed that they were “spearheaded by Ted Turner, and of course, Bill Gates,” adding that “They built this monument calling for forced depopulation of the planet and one world government.”
In a statement made on his show this morning, Jones disavowed the apparently targeted explosion, saying “I do not agree with whoever did it because we need that evil edifice there as a confession letter.”
