President Joe Biden read “repeat the line” off his teleprompter during a speech on Friday. The moment quickly went viral and provoked protective rage from corporate journalists.
“It is noteworthy has the number of women who have registered to vote and cast a ballot is consistently higher than the number of men who do so. End of quote,” Biden said. “Repeat the line. Women are not without electoral and or political, or – let me be precise, not ‘and or.’ Or political power.”
The moment was posted to social media and quickly went viral, accruing over 4 million views in a matter of hours.

Several people, including an Assistant White House Press Secretary, tried to ‘debunk’ the video by claiming Biden actually said, “Let me repeat the line.” Biden never said “let me,” however.
Since you're in my mentions, maybe you can answer for us why your Energy Department sold a million barrels of our oil reserves to a Chinese gas company an equity firm your boss' crackhead son co-founded has a $1.7 billion stake in?

I love how your show is called “No Lie” considering you literally lie about everything and seem to think we all didn’t hear what we clearly heard. pic.twitter.com/PFC6wTYCcD

The White House later released a transcript that incorrectly quoted Biden as saying, “Let me repeat the line.”
White House transcript of Biden remarks is now incorrectly aligned with what this WH assistant press secretary falsely claimed on Twitter, despite the video showing Biden clearly stating “End of quote. Repeat the line.” & *not* “Let me repeat the line.”https://t.co/fJrzgfdbEy https://t.co/GX3zftIEtB pic.twitter.com/snrRHnHRIr

Biden interrupted his own speech on Wednesday to announce to the audience that he believed he was getting a phone call from former President Donald Trump.
“The reality is for so many people, the goalposts keep moving,” Biden said. “Unfort— that’s probably Trump calling me if he’s [unintelligible mumbling]. I hear that sound there.”
Some corporate media outlets have reported that Biden was responding to a phone ringing in the audience, though the ring tone does not appear to be audible in any of the live broadcasts of the speech.
Biden coughed into his left hand following a speech on Wednesday, before walking over to the audience and appearing to use both hands to touch and interact with people.
The President did not wash his hands, or use use hand sanitizer before he used the same hand he coughed into to touch and interact with people amidst a global Covid pandemic.
