First Lady Dr. Jill left her COVID-19 positive husband at home for a solo ice cream trip today, but was heckled by a citizen who – like most Americans – is apparently fed up with Joe Biden’s job performance over his first 19 months in office.
First Lady Dr. Jill was reportedly on a solo trip to a New Haven, Connecticut ice cream shop called Arethusa Farm Dairy when she encountered one of her husband’s detractors.
“Your husband is the worst president we’ve ever had,” a man shouted at Dr. Jill. Perhaps not hearing the man correctly, she shouted back, “Thank you!”
“You owe us gas money, you owe us gas money,” the man shouted. “You suck!”
Jill Biden’s approval ratings have dropped almost as low as Joe Biden’s in recent months.
While Biden sits at an abysmal 31% approval rating, his wife clocks in as slightly less unpopular with 34% approval. Her approval ratings have nose dived 24 points in only one year, making her one of the most unpopular first ladies in American history.
Perhaps fueling the nosedive is her abysmal approval ratings with Hispanics. She referred to them as “tacos” earlier this month while delivering a speech for an event featuring something called “LatinX”.
In her speech, First Lady Dr. Jill, who has a PhD in education and thus demands to be called a doctor, said that Latinos are as diverse and “unique as the breakfast tacos here in San Antonio.”

Her team later offered what passes for an apology, with a statement declaring that Dr. Jill did not mean to be offensive to Latinos by referring to them as a breakfast food.
The damage may have already been done, however, as Biden’s popularity with Hispanics dropped below the level of support he receives from whites in the days following the absurd comparison.
