The Texas Republican Party, the largest state Republican party in the United States, passed a resolution rejecting the results of the 2020 Presidential election, casting further partisan doubt on doubt on the legitimacy of Joe Biden’s presidency.
Delegates over the weekend passed the resolution at the Texas GOP convention in Houston.
According to the Texas GOP, the 2020 election was unconstitutional because certain secretaries of state allowed votes to be received after election day and “circumvented” state legislatures, who have the authority to conduct elections.
The party also claimed that “substantial” election fraud took place in certain cities in key swing states in favor of Biden, who they called “acting President.”
“We believe that the 2020 election violated Article 1 and 2 of the US Constitution, that various secretaries of state illegally circumvented their state legislatures in conducting their elections in multiple ways, including by allowing ballots to be received after November 3, 2020,” the resolution states.
“We believe that substantial election fraud in key metropolitan areas significantly affected the results in five key states in favor of Joseph Robinette Biden Jr. We reject the certified results of the 2020 Presidential election, and we hold that acting President Joseph Robinette Biden Jr. was not legitimately elected by the people of the United States,” the resolution continued.
“We strongly urge all Republicans to work to ensure election integrity and to show up to vote in November of 2022, bring your friends and family, volunteer for your local Republicans, and overwhelm any possible fraud.”
At the convention, Dinesh D’Souza’s “2000 Mules” documentary was reportedly screened. Upon the resolution’s passing, D’Souza took to Twitter to celebrate the news.

45th President Donald Trump claimed on Friday that the highly unpopular former vice president Mike Pence was a “human conveyor belt” for “fraudulent votes” following the 2020 election, Valiant News reported.
“Mike was afraid of whatever he was afraid of,” Trump said at the Faith and Freedom Coalition. “But as you heard a year and a half ago, Mike Pence had ‘absolutely no choice’ but to be a human conveyor belt.”
“He was a human conveyor belt,” Trump continued. “Even if the votes were fraudulent, they said he had to send the votes, couldn’t do anything. I said, ‘Well, what happens when you had more votes than you had voters.’”
