Bill Barr, the former Attorney General under 45th President Donald Trump, said that he believes the 2020 Presidential Election “was not stolen by fraud.”
In a video posted to Twitter by The Recount, Barr can be observed explaining how he felt “demoralized because I thought that, boy, if [President Trump] believes this [voter fraud] stuff, he has, you know, lost contact with, uh, with, uh, he’s become detached from reality, if he really believes this stuff.”
Barr explained that he attempted to tell the former Commander-in-Chief that election integrity concerns were “crazy” and that Joe Biden’s 81 million votes were real. He also indicated he’s seen the evidence presented in conservative filmmaker Dinesh D’Souza’s “2000 Mules” and did not find it compelling.

“On the other hand, you know, when I went into this and would, you know, tell him how crazy some of these allegations were, there was never, there was never, an indication of interest in what the actual facts were,” Barr said with a chuckle.
“My opinion then and my opinion now is that the election was not stolen by fraud. And I haven’t seen anything since the election that changes my mind on that, including the ‘2000 Mules’ movie,” he laughed.
President Trump previously slammed the former Attorney General on his favored social media platform, TRUTH Social.

In a series of posts, the former President called Barr “a weak and frightened Attorney General who was always being ‘played’ and threatened by the Democrats and was scared stiff of being Impeached.”
“How do you not get impeached? Do nothing, or say nothing, especially about the obviously RIGGED & STOLEN Election or, to put it another way, THE CRIME OF THE CENTURY!” President Trump wrote.
“The Democrats hit pay dirt with Barr, he was stupid, ridiculously said there was no problem with the Election, & they left him alone. It worked for him, but not for our Country!” he continued.

“Bill Barr was a coward who would not let his U.S. Attorney in Philadelphia, where Election Fraud was rampant, to even think about looking at it,” President Trump wrote.
“I believe that by their inaction, others were told this also!”
Reacting to Barr’s comments, Dinesh D’Souza, the director of “2000 Mules” tweeted an invitation for the former Attorney General to publically debate him on the subject of election fraud.
“I’d like to invite Bill Barr to a public debate on election fraud. Given his blithe chuckling dismissal of #2000Mules this should be easy for him,” D’Souza said. “What do you say, Barr? Do you dare to back up your belly laughs with arguments that can withstand rebuttal and cross-examination?”

In a separate tweet, D’Souza added “is there anyone competent enough in cell phone geotracking who will defend what Bill Barr said?”
“He insists that random people in a busy city going past ballot dropboxes cannot be distinguished from mules who each go on routes and stop specifically at 10 or more dropboxes. Is this true?”

“I’ve been thinking about Bill Barr’s sycophantic laughter before the Democrats, and it reminds me of fat boys in my school in India who were always laughing,” D’Souza tweeted.
“I suspect the reason was twofold: 1. They couldn’t fight and 2. They couldn’t run,” he said.
