The Fox Sports network announced on Tuesday that Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady will become its top broadcast NFL analyst “immediately” following the eventual date of his retirement, which is still unknown.

“We are pleased to announce that immediately following his playing career, 7-time Super Bowl Champion Tom Brady will be joining us at @FoxSports as our lead analyst,” Fox Sports said in a statement.

“Over the course of this long-term agreement, Tom will not only call our biggest NFL games with Kevin Burkhardt, but will also serve as an ambassador for us, particularly with respect to client and promotional initiatives,” the statement continued.

Brady responded to the news by posting “Excited, but a lot of unfinished business on the field with the @Buccaneers #LFG” on his Twitter account.

Brady is considered by many fans to be the greatest quarterback in NFL history, having won 7 Super Bowls with the New England Patriots and Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

In 2016, Brady was subjected to widespread criticism by the corporate media after it was revealed that he kept a “Make America Great Again” hat in his locker.

Brady has expressed disagreement with President Donald Trump on the issue of NFL players using the playing field as a vehicle for BLM protests.

“I thought it was just divisive,” Brady said of Trump’s criticism of NFL BLM activists in 2017.

“I just want to support my teammates. I am never one to say, ‘Oh, that is wrong. That is right.’ I do believe in what I believe in. I believe in bringing people together and respect and love and trust. Those are the values that my parents instilled in me.”
