Maryland’s GOP Governor Calls Florida ‘Anti-Grooming’ Bill ‘Absurd,’ Says It Would Not ‘Have Happened In Our State’

Hogan defends Disney’s “freedom of speech,” criticizes Ron DeSantis for “telling the cruise lines what they had to do, he was telling local schools, mandating, and now he’s, he wants to criticize Disney for expressing you know, how they feel about that bill.”

Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan, who is a Republican, stated on Sunday that Florida’s controversial “Anti-Grooming Bill” that prevents teachers from discussing sexual practices with young children is a “crazy fight,” and “not something would have happened in our state.”

Hogan made the remarks during an interview Dana Bash of CNN on the network’s “State of the Union” program.

“I didn’t really actually see the details of the legislation but the whole thing seems like just a, you know, crazy fight,” Hogan said. “I’m not sure it’s, it concerns me that DeSantis is always talking about, you know, he was not not demanding that businesses do think but he was, you know, telling the cruise lines what they had to do, he was telling local schools, mandating, and now he’s, he wants to criticize Disney for expressing you know, how they feel about that bill.”

“I mean, they have every right to, we have this thing called freedom of speech,” Hogan continued. “They can dictate and come out and say what they think. I think the bill was kind of absurd, and not something would have happened in our state.”

Hogan’s sentiments echoed previous criticisms of the legislation from the teaching sector.

“In order to build relationships, you talk about your home life, what you do on the weekends

Kindergarten teacher Cory Bernaert stated that the prohibition on discussing sex with children made him “afraid for myself, my colleagues and my students” last month.

“It scares me that I am not going to be able to have these conversations with my children because they’re going to ask about what I did on the weekend, I don’t want to have to hide that my partner and I went paddleboarding this weekend,” Bernaert said.” They will ask ‘what does partner mean?’ Can I tell them what it means?”

What Hogan is not saying is he has a stall of prepubescent boys chained up in his basement exclusively there for his pleasure.

As we would say put your money where your mouth is. Then put it to vote in Maryland and let’s see what happens!

Protecting children in 1st thru 3rd grade from perverted sex grooming certainly wouldn’t ever happen in the Peoples Republic of Merrygayland.
Rino Hogan will soon disappear as irrelevant unless he comes out as a democRat or Gay-Trans.

And this is why I moved out of Maryland after only being there one year. It is the worst place I have lived. Now I’m in Texas, and though Gov. Greg Abbott is a RINO, he’s still better than many and Texas is great!

DeSantis is absolutely correct that there is no reason, zero, nada, zilch for any teacher to be grooming 5 years olds sexual preferences. Ditto 6, 7, and 8 year olds. Teachers obsessed with their own sexuality pushing 5 year olds to declare some obscure sexual preference when they have zero idea about sex is absurd and sick.

Hogan declares himself alined with the sickos. I would never vote for him for any office.

Look, I am in a Democrat state and have no backbone to start with. You expect me to have morals?
