A new report from The Epoch Times states claims the CDC has confirmed that nearly 400 of its employees have not been injected with a COVID-19 vaccine, despite the agency recommending the vaccine for all Americans.
“Three hundred and 82 workers at the CDC are unvaccinated, Roger Andoh, a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) officer at the agency, told The Epoch Times,” The Epoch Times reported on Thursday.
382 employees would represent 3.2% of the CDC’s workforce.
An additional nine employees do not reportedly qualify as “fully vaccinated” because they have not received more than COVID-19 Pfizer or Moderna vaccine dose.
A FOIA analyst with HHS told the Epoch Times that “The response I got to your appeal from CDC gave me the impression they didn’t mean to withhold any information in the first place,” and, “Based on that, my (personal) belief is that this was just an accidental omission on their part.”
In a statement released last December, HHS Secretary Xavier Becerra boasted, “Some of our largest Divisions now have vaccination rates that exceed the Department’s vaccination rate of more than 97 percent. So, no matter how you slice and dice the data at HHS, nearly every member of our workforce has answered the President’s call, and I couldn’t be prouder.”
“This data, and the data released last week by OMB, prove that federal vaccine requirements work,” Becerra boasted. “Because tens of thousands of HHS employees followed the science, they are safer today and so are their families, workplaces, and communities.”
Embattled NIAID director and cable news personality Anthony Fauci said it’s a “bad precedent” for judges to overturn controversial mask mandates, and suggested those types of decisions should be left to people like him and the CDC.
During an appearance on Fox News, Fauci clarified earlier statements he made after a judge struck down the divisive CDC mask mandate for transportation including airplanes. At the time, Fauci said he did not believe the decision should have made it to a court room, but rather been left to the experts at the CDC without judicial oversight.
