During a session at the World Government Summit in Dubai titled ‘Our World Today: Why Governments Must Act Now’ on March 29, globalist billionaire and World Economic Forum (WEF) founder Klaus Schwab warned that incoming “changes” to the international system will result in global energy, food, and supply chain systems being “deeply affected.”
The globalist billionaire pointed to the global devastation brought upon by COVID-19, but appeared primarily focused on the international turmoil that has risen in light of the Ukraine-Russia war.
“The world has to overcome not only the damage done to our economies and our societies by COVID-19,” claimed Schwab, “It also has to confront the repercussions of a dangerous clash between major global powers.”
“History is truly at a turning point. We do not yet know the full extent and the systemic and structural changes which will happen,” Schwab said during his brief address. “We do know that global energy systems, food systems, and supply chains will be deeply affected.”
“In times of crisis, the role of governments is more important and more relevant than ever. What is also needed is a [World Government] Summit like this one. To go beyond crisis management, and to look into constructive ways we can build our common future,” he continued.
Schwab’s chilling warnings come amid a deepening divide appearing between the international ruling class and regimes that they once considered under their sphere of influence, namely Russia and China, who appear to be forming a more tightly knit international partnership in the face of Western nations’ anti-Russian response to the war in Ukraine.
For instance, Schwab’s WEF recently severed all ties with all Russian entities and individuals over the Ukraine-Russia conflict. The move appeared significant, as Russian President Vladimir Putin himself is graduate of Schwab’s controversial Young Global Leaders program and was a frequent attendee of WEF events in recent years.
WEF Agenda Contributor and founder of Open Society Foundations, globalist billionaire George Soros, has also issued calls for the removal of Putin and Chinese President Xi Jinping from their positions of power, going so far as to accuse the two of “raising the prospect of a global catastrophe” and effectively declaring that World War 3 has begun.
“After receiving a green light from Chinese President Xi Jinping, Russian President Vladimir Putin launched his war in Ukraine in an effort to reclaim the old Russian empire,” Soros said. “But both leaders appear to have misjudged the situation, raising the prospect of a global catastrophe – unless they are removed from power.”
BlackRock CEO Larry Fink issued similar concerns in recent days when he stated that the current globalist “world order” has been “upended” in a letter to his corporation’s shareholders.
Fink wrote that “the world is undergoing a transformation: Russia’s brutal attack on Ukraine has upended the world order that had been in place since the end of the Cold War, more than 30 years ago.”
“The ramifications of this war are not limited to Eastern Europe. They are layered on top of a pandemic that has already had profound effects on political, economic, and social trends. The impact will reverberate for decades to come in ways we can’t yet predict,” he continued.
Last Tuesday, U.S. President Joe Biden declared that his “top military people” told him during a security briefing that a “New World Order” was on the horizon. The remark immediately raised eyebrows, though fact checkers were quick to squash what they call conspiracies about the phrase.
“You know we are at an inflection point, I believe, in the world economy — not just the world economy, in the world. Occurs every three or four generations,” Biden said.
“As one of the top military people said to me in a security meeting the other day, 60 million people died between 1900 and 1946, and since then, we’ve established a liberal world order and that hadn’t happened in a long while.” Biden explained, “There’s going to be a New World Order out there and we have to lead it.”
