Following the Town Hall featuring 45th President Donald Trump, a CNN voter panel embarrassed the reporter for claiming that Trump “keeps talking” about 2020, despite them asking him about it.
In his first Town Hall since announcing his 2024 run, CNN’s Kaitlan Collins kicked off the evening by demanding Trump to address his claims that there was interference and fraud in the 2020 election, which CNN denies occurred.
“It was not a rigged election,” Collins declared. “It was not a stolen election. You and your supporters lost more than 60 court cases on the election. It’s been nearly two and a half years,” she noted, before asking, “Can you publicly acknowledge that you did lose the 2020 election?” The 45th President began by noting he received 12 million more votes than in 2016, and did “far better” in 2020.
“When you look at what happened during that election, unless you’re a very stupid person, you see what happens… Most people understand what happened. It was a rigged election,” he said. “It was a shame we had to go through it.”
Trump further pointed to the Twitter Files, which exposed attempts by the Democrats and Big Tech to suppress truthful articles about Hunter Biden, and instances of ballot boxes being stuffed that he said were captured “on government cameras.”
Pressed by CNN's @kaitlancollins in a New Hampshire town hall, former President Donald Trump again refuses to concede that he lost the 2020 election and repeats his false claims about election fraud.

Following the Town Hall, a Republican-leaning voter panel was interviewed by CNN correspondent Gary Tuchman.
“Donald Trump, we have to be blunt about it, is not a truth teller,” the newsman accused. “That’s the way he’s always been when he was a businessman and a politician. He has lied about the 2020 election. Stuffed ballot boxes, it’s all made up. He’s lost dozens of court cases,” Tuchman declared. “Does it bother you that he keeps talking about 2020, and not 2024?” he asked the panel. “How do you feel about those lies?”
Jonathan Leslie, 40, a Republican who voted for Trump twice, stated that it was actually CNN who was obsessed with creating a “media narrative” about Trump and the 2020 election.
“You guys asked him the first question at the Town Hall about the 2020 election, rather than current stuff,” Leslie pointed out. “So don’t you think he could say it’s time to start talking about 2024, not lies that aren’t true?” Tuchman responded.
Firing back, Leslie asked if the media could instead actually ask him “a question about 2024,” which the rest of the panel noted was more important to them than running back discussions on 2020. “Well there were questions, but you’re right. That was the first thing, but that was something that was on our minds, and that’s why it was asked first,” Tuchman admitted.
It seems there was a town hall tonight. I missed it but I briefly caught a glimpse of the postgame
CNN: Don’t you wish he would quit talking about 2020?
Voter: Uhh the first question you asked him was about 2020

Following the Town Hall, Rick Wilson, the founder of the anti-Trump Lincoln Project, advised Republican hopefuls to call off their campaigns and accept the fact that Trump will be the 2024 presidential nominee.
“Whatever the f**k they thought they were going to get out of this, they instead have set a match to democracy once again,” Wilson exclaimed in a video posted to Twitter.
