45th President Donald Trump released a video celebrating the low poll numbers of his potential 2024 GOP opponent, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis.
The video, reposted by the “Trump War Room” Twitter account, features Trump boasting of the “many globalists” – namely former Bush administration advisor Karl Rove, former House Speaker Paul Ryan, and failed 2016 Republican presidential candidate Jeb Bush – who are reportedly dismayed by the Florida politician’s recent poll numbers.
“Ron DeSanctimonious is being crushed in the polls, all of them. Many globalists are having second thoughts. RINO’s like Karl Rove, Pauline Ryan, and Jeb ‘Low Energy’ Bush are beside themselves,” the 45th President said. “They don’t know what’s going on.”
“They have rarely witnessed a cratering of this magnitude. These polls are going down rapidly. Maybe they should’ve told Ron that trying to destroy social security and medicare, and having voted to destroy them three times, is not a good thing to do,” he said.

“Also, his record on China Virus, crime, and education is, despite his ever-spinning PR machine, absolutely abysmal,” said President Trump.
In a separate video, the former president went into more detail explaining DeSantis’ history as a “disciple” of “super RINO,” former House Speaker Ryan.
“I like people that are loyal. When you help somebody, you expect that there will be some amount of dignity and loyalty. We didn’t get that from Ron. But that’s okay, because we’re going to beat him. And we’re going to beat him very badly. We’re going to win the presidency and we’re going to Make America Great Again,” said Trump.

“Remember, Ron DeSanctus strongly opposed ethanol and fought against it at every turn–and he’ll do it again. They always go back to their original policy and thought!” Trump said in a third video.
“Remember, he was a disciple of RINO Paul Ryan, a loser who is currently absolutely destroying Fox and Fox News.”

Top figures from the 2016 presidential campaign of Ted Cruz have reportedly signed on to an effort to help DeSantis beat Trump in the race for the 2024 Republican presidential nomination, Valiant News reported.
Sparking more comparisons of the current Republican political climate to that of 2016, key personnel involved with the 2016 campaign are back in the ring with Trump, this time backing DeSantis, despite the former president dominating most polls.
A new report by Yahoo News this week has revealed that longtime Republican operative Jeff Roe, former Virginia Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli, and grassroots organizer David Polyansky have joined the pro-DeSantis “Never Back Down” super PAC designed to help the Florida politician beat Trump to the Republican nomination.
The former president last week appeared to take a swipe at Roe and his Never Back Down colleagues for boosting DeSantis despite the Florida Governor’s lackluster performance in recent polling.

“Ron DeSanctimonious’ Political Consultants are failing to rescue his sinking ship,” Trump posted on Truth Social one day after news broke of Roe’s involvement with Never Back Down. “He can’t move without them, it takes him forever to make a decision, and they’re charging him and his Globalist Donors a fortune.”
Trump has repeatedly linked the Florida Governor to Washington neoconservatives and old guard Republicans like former House Speaker Ryan, Mitt Romney, and the late Senator John McCain.
