Democrat party sycophant and late-night TV host Stephen Colbert took an uncharacteristically aggressive stance against the Biden administration’s proposed ban on gas stoves this week, shouting “F**k you, I’ll see you in hell.”
Colbert made the remarks during Wednesday night’s edition of his TV show.
The US Consumer Product Safety Commission walked back the proposed ban on Wednesday after intense backlash on social media.
Colbert cited the agency’s claim that gas stoves emit harmful pollutants, stating, “OK, that is not great. But counterpoint: gas stoves are also linked to delicious pan-seared scallops. A little butter bath. Come on, baby, come on. Oh yeah, oh yeah.”
“F— you! I will see you in hell,” the host known for reciting Biden regime narratives shouted. “You can have my gas range when you pry it from my hot, sizzling hams!””
“Now, because they knew I would be upset, the government says they now have no plans to ban the stoves, so as of right now there are no rule changes,” Colbert continued.
“But the Nervous Nellies over at Consumer Reports are urging homeowners to consider going electric. Why? Because electric stoves are so safe?” he queried.
“‘Kids, I don’t want you inhaling particulate matter so I bought us something that goes from room temperature to the surface of the sun with nothing in between, and when you turn it off it stays hot for hours,” Colbert said mockingly. “Is it on right now? Only one way to find out. Jimmy, put a plate on there and see if it explodes in your face.”
Colbert made headlines last February for claiming inflation under Biden was “worth” the cost of sending money to Ukraine.
“Since the invasion, oil prices have skyrocket,” the host said at the time. “Today, the average gas price in America hit an all-time record high of over $4 per gallon. Okay, that stings, but a clean conscience is worth a buck or two.”
“It’s important. I’m willing to pay $4 per gallon,” Colbert declared, then noted, “Hell, I’ll pay $15 a gallon, ’cause I drive a Tesla.”
