Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene has released security video on Twitter that shows local police storm her property after she was swatted for the third time.

Swatting is when an individual calls police and falsely reports a horrifying crime happening in a person’s home. Police, usually expecting a dangerous domestic incident, kidnapping, or mass murder, storm the home in a frenzy. There have been multiple instances of confused police officers shooting and killing the victims of the swatting.

Greene says there have now been three attempts to criminally swat her home in the last week, and explained how the first swatting occurred in an interview with pro-Trump media outlet Right Side Broadcasting.

“It was being reported that someone had been shot five times in the chest, they’re in the bathtub of my home,” Greene explained, adding that police officers were told there was a “Female with a gun that is threatening to kill herself and there was also a report that there was children in the home.”

“They were responding to this call on a very serious issue,” said Greene.

“I just believe it was truly a God thing that I had that feeling not to carry that gun with me to the front door. Had I done that, we would have been in a whole different scenario, because I probably would have been the target and that’s the whole purpose of swatting someone.”

“They were tactical, they had guns drawn, and they were prepared for something serious,” said Greene. Greene said the sergeant informed her, “Well, there was a report, there was a 911 call,” she relayed, “I think you’ve been swatted.”

Video of the incident shows armed police officers approach Greene’s Georgia home, then cautiously make their way through the home itself to verify the call was based on bad information.

The person responsible for the initial swatting – who used a computerized voice changer to modify his or her voice – claimed to be active on the Kiwifarms web forum that collects information about high profile individuals on the Internet known as “lolcows” and has been accused of doxxing, stalking, harassment, and death threats.

When calling the police after the swatting attempt, the person responsible claimed to be a Kiwifarms user who was upset with Greene over her stance on transgender children.

Greene called for the website to be taken down, should it be found to be the origin of the swatting attempt, and has questioned why such a website should be allowed to exist.

Free speech absolutists maintain that, unless Kiwifarms is directly involved in criminality, the website and its owner should not be punished for the swatting attempts.
