During a trip to Israel this week, a confused Joe Biden once again appeared to shake the hand of an invisible person.
In a video of the awkward situation posted by the Republican National Committee Research Twitter account on Thursday, Biden can be observed leaving the podium and putting his hand out to shake the invisible person.
Due to his apparently confused state, Biden was then steered in the direction of nearby chairs, which he began to point in the direction of as he walked towards them.
Why does he stick his entire hand out and then change it to a point

This would not be the first time the president has appeared to shake hands with invisible people.
Back in April, Biden experienced the trademark “Biden moment” following a speech in North Carolina when he mimed a handshake while entirely alone on stage, with nobody standing next to him.

Immediately after ending his speech with “God bless you all,” Biden turned to his right and said something to the empty space space behind him – where another person would presumably be if Biden was not all alone – and mimed a handshake.
Amid questions and concerns over the president’s declining cognitive function, Biden had also read “repeat the line” off his teleprompter during a speech on Friday. The moment quickly went viral and provoked protective rage from corporate journalists.

“It is noteworthy has the number of women who have registered to vote and cast a ballot is consistently higher than the number of men who do so. End of quote,” Biden said. “Repeat the line. Women are not without electoral and or political, or – let me be precise, not ‘and or.’ Or political power.”
45th President Donald Trump recently pushed back on claims that Biden is “too old” to be president, noting that his cognitive decline may not be due to his age. Trump himself is 76 years of age and appears to be in much better health than Biden.
“President Biden is one of the oldest 79s in History, but by and of itself, he is not an old man. There are many people in their 80s, and even 90s, that are as good and sharp as ever. Biden is not one of them, but it has little to do with his age. In actuality, life begins at 80!” Trump said.
