Journalist Avi Yemini, an Australian journalist for Rebel News, confronted New York Times Deputy Managing Editor Rebecca Blumenstein today at the World Economic Forum event in Davos, Switzerland.
In a video posted to Twitter, Yemini approached Blumenstein and asked her to explain why people should trust the mainstream press to report on the World Economic Forum when she was invited to the event in Switzerland as an attendee.
“How is the public supposed to believe that the New York Times is here to actually ask tough questions,” Yemini asked Blumenstein, “when you’re here as an invited guest?”
I just bumped into the @nytimes Deputy Managing Editor, @RBlumenstein, in Davos.
I asked her how is the public supposed to trust the NYT reporting here when she's an INVITED GUEST of the World Economic Forum.
Her response says it all.

The New York Times editor sat in silence, refusing to answer the journalist’s questions. “How are people meant to rely on the mainstream media?” Yemini asked again.
A woman accompanying Blumenstein then interjected, asking Yemini “if you wouldn’t mind… if you could just give us… thank you.”
Blumenstein remained silent and shook her head as the Rebel News journalist continued to press on with his questions. “You don’t want to explain to people why we should trust the mainstream media?” he asked. “No? Of course, no comment?”
After Blumenstein refused to answer his questions, Yemini then turned to his camera and said “there we go.”
“That’s the point here, is in Davos, you have the mainstream media. They aren’t here to report the truth. They are here as part of the event — invited guests with their white name tags,” he said.
Among other videos taken from the WEF event in Davos, Yemini also conducted an on-the-fly interview with World Health Organization COVID-19 envoy David Nabarro, who claimed he had been “ambushed” by Yemini.

“You are asking questions that I can’t answer,” Nabarro can be observed stating.
Thank goodness Australia has a new climate crusading prime minister who ONLY sent a delegation of one private jet.
Albo is literally saving the planet already.

“I would like to say to those of you who are watching this, I would be very happy to be interviewed normally about this, but to be ambushed…” he continued.
After three long days of travel, @TheRealRukshan and I finally arrived in Davos to EXPOSE the global elites.
It was a hard decision to leave during an election, but it had to be done.
Because the MSM will not cover it properly.

The full interview with Nabarro has not been posted as of now, but a short clip teaser of the interview was posted to Yemini’s Twitter account, so as to give Nabarro time to respond.
Valiant News previously reported that Human Events Daily host Jack Posobiec was briefly detained by police while covering the controversial summit held annually by globalist elites in Davos, Switzerland, with police reportedly dispersing after independent journalist Savanah Hernandez began recording the confrontation.
