Speaking during a segment on Real America’s Voice last night, Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) accused the Democrat Party of being “the party of pedophiles” over their insistence on forcing young school children to learn about lewd sexual acts and behaviors in response to Florida’s new anti-grooming bill.
Florida Governor Ron DeSantis’ signing of HB 1557, which prohibits classroom instruction on sexual orientation or gender identity in kindergarten through 3rd grade and prohibits instruction that is not age appropriate for students — drew ire from liberals, Democrat politicians, and major corporations such as Disney, who appear to desperately want children 9 to 5 years old to learn about sexual topics.
“The Democrats are the party of pedophiles,” declared Greene. “The Democrats are princess predators from Disney.” She added that “The Democrats are the party of elementary school teachers trying to transition their elementary school-aged children and convince them they are a different gender.”
“This is the party of their identity, and their identity is the most disgusting evil, horrible thing happening in our country,” Greene added, “that’s why we have to say it. We have to be willing to say it, no matter how many little blue check marks get their feelings hurt on Twitter.”

Despite the legislation containing no such language, opponents of the bill have falsely labeled HB 1557 the “Don’t Say Gay” bill, in what appears to be an attempt to make it seem like the bill isn’t designed to protect young children from controversial discussions about sex in the classroom.
After signing the bill, DeSantis said that Florida parents “have every right to be informed about services offered to their child at school, and should be protected from schools using classroom instruction to sexualize their kids as young as 5 years old.”
Lieutenant Governor Jeanette Nuñez said that “throughout this legislative session, this bill has been maliciously maligned by those who prefer slogans and sound bites over substance and common sense.”
“Fortunately, Governor DeSantis and I believe that parents should have a say. We will not back down to woke corporations and their same tired tactics that are steeped in hypocrisy. As a mother of three, I am committed to protecting the rights of parents,” Nuñez said.
“This bill is about protecting our kids, empowering parents and ensuring they have the information they need to do their God-given job of raising their child,” said Florida Representative Joe Harding.
