In a stunning blow to President Joe Biden’s reelection bid, his approval rating has plummeted to a record low of 36% according to a new ABC News and FiveThirtyEight report.
This marks the lowest approval rating for an incumbent president running for reelection in the 21st century.
Biden again just recorded his lowest approval rating at 36.9%, per 538/ABC.

The president’s declining popularity comes in the wake of a disastrous performance during a presidential debate with former President Donald Trump, as well as reports from White House insiders about his alleged alarming cognitive decline.
Nate Silver of FiveThirtyEight has begun to increasingly speak out about Biden’s cognitive decline.
Good for them. The President of the United States is possibly unfit for the job AND he might be replaced by his vice president or some other Democrat with just 4 months to go in an election against Donald Trump. It's about as big as news stories get. https://t.co/ubyryEbD2L

Despite these setbacks, Biden has refused to drop out of the race, much to the chagrin of Democrat mega-donors and media operatives.
The new poll results are a significant blow to Biden’s reelection campaign, which has struggled to gain traction in the face of mounting criticism over his handling of a range of issues, including the economy, immigration, and foreign policy, in addition to questions over the president’s mental and physical competency.
