House Republicans are investigating claims then-Vice President Joe Biden was embroiled in a “criminal” bribery scheme with a foreign national only to have evidence of the alleged crimes concealed by the FBI and Department of Justice.
An unnamed whistleblower has come forward claiming that the Biden administration’s DOJ and FBI are suppressing a criminal bribery plot involving then-Vice President Joe Biden and a foreign national, Republican lawmakers said on Tuesday.
In a letter directed to Biden administration Attorney General Merrick Garland and FBI Director Christopher Wray, Sen. Chuck Grassley and Rep. James Comer said that the DOJ and the FBI are in possession of a form that describes Biden’s alleged criminal actions.

The lawmakers claimed the FBI possesses “an unclassified FD-1023 form that describes an alleged criminal scheme involving then-Vice President Biden and a foreign national relating to the exchange of money for policy decisions.”
“It has been alleged that the document includes a precise description of how the alleged criminal scheme was employed as well as its purpose,” the lawmakers continued. “Based on the alleged specificity within the document, it would appear that the DOJ and the FBI have enough information to determine the truth and accuracy of the information contained within it.”

“However, it remains unclear what steps, if any, were taken to investigate the matter. The significant public interest in assessing the FBI’s track record of allowing political bias to infect their decision-making process, necessitate exacting congressional oversight,” wrote Grassley and Comer.
The Republican lawmakers further claimed that the federal agencies “appear to have valuable, verifiable information” and “failed to disclose” it “to the American people, and announced that they will be conducting an independent review of the scheme without DOJ or FBI interference.
“Transparency brings accountability,” they wrote.
