Eco protesters have disrupted the National Conservatism conference that is taking place just round the corner from the British Parliament.
The National Conservatism conference, a project of the Edmund Burke Foundation, is holding its inaugural British conference this week, after previous events in Miami, Washington DC, and Rome.
A number of Conservative MPs, both in government and on the backbenches, have made or will make appearances, much to the ire of the media and leftists who have attempted disrupt the conference.
The first disruption came during the former Business Secretary Jacob Rees Mogg’s speech. An older man, who was later identified as being part of the radical environmentalist group Extinction Rebellion, jumped onto the stage just as the Tory MP started to address the audience. The protester launched into a spiel about fascism, before being shortly removed by security.

A second set of protesters, who Extinction Rebellion also claimed as being part of their group, interrupted a later speech by Home Secretary Suella Braverman. Despite supposedly being part of the radical green group, the second set of protesters attacked Braverman for her stance on illegal migration.
After they were led away by security, the Home Secretary quipped that the two were “auditioning for the Shadow Cabinet.”

WATCH 👀 as a horde of braying Tory men abuse & berate a lone female citizen trying to express concern at a government that demonises migrants, criminalises peaceful protest & dishes out billions to subsidize big oil #Natcon #NationalConservatism #ToryFascistDictatorship pic.twitter.com/DdXpUPzvYS

After the eco protesters were removed, Braverman stood up against anti-white hatred from the left in her speech to the National Conservatism conference. “White people do not exist in a special state of sin or collective guilt,” she said. “Nobody should be blamed for things that happened before they were born. The defining feature of this country’s relationship with slavery is not that we practiced it, but that we led the way in abolishing it.”
The Home Secretary further noted that the right, and the Conservative Party, should rightly tackle illegal migration, but must not forget that the flows of legal migration must also be stopped.
