Special counsel John Durham on Monday finalized his three year long Russiagate investigation and concluded that the Obama administration’s FBI had no legal basis for investigating 45th President Donald Trump’s now-proven nonexistent ties to the Russian government during the 2016 presidential election.
According to the special counsel’s report, the FBI utilized “raw, unanalyzed, and uncorroborated intelligence” as a basis in launching the controversial “Crossfire Hurricane” investigation into the then-presidential Republican nominee, noting that the agency’s actions indicated a double standard when examining allegations of election interference by Hillary Clinton’s campaign.
Durham did not recommend any additional criminal charges against the individuals involved, nor any “wholesale changes” with how the federal law enforcement agency conducts investigations with political ramifications.

“Based on the review of Crossfire Hurricane and related intelligence activities, we conclude that the (Justice) Department and FBI failed to uphold their important mission of strict fidelity to the law in connection with certain events and activities described in this report,” Durham wrote.
Durham added, “at least on the part of certain personnel intimately involved in the matter” there was “a predisposition to open an investigation into Trump.”
Biden administration Attorney General Merrick Garland submitted the special counsel’s report to lawmakers in Congress and released the 300 plus page report on Monday.

“Special Counsel Durham’s unclassified report is attached in full as submitted to me, without any additions, redactions, or other modifications,” Garland wrote to the lawmakers.
Durham rebutted claims of Trump-Russian collusion in his report, writing: “Indeed, based on the evidence gathered in the multiple exhaustive and costly federal investigations of these matters, including the instant investigation, neither U.S. law enforcement nor the Intelligence Community appears to have possessed any actual evidence of collusion in their holdings at the commencement of the Crossfire Hurricane investigation.”
BREAKING: According to the Durham Report, the FBI agents who received the false Trump/Alpha Bank story from Michael Sussman determined they were lies but it was "FBI leadership" that ordered them to open a full case into it anyway.

The special counsel specifically named disgraced former FBI Deputy Director and current CNN pundit Andrew McCabe and former counterintelligence division deputy director Peter Strzok, who “at a minimum, had pronounced hostile feelings toward Trump,” Durham stated, quoting a footnote based on texts between Strzok and former FBI attorney and Strzok’s lover, Lisa Page.
Durham slammed the FBI for failing to interview any relevant witnesses, review any of their own intelligence databases, or making use of “any of the standard analytical tools typically employed by the FBI in evaluating raw intelligence.”

“Unlike the FBI’s opening of a full investigation of unknown members of the Trump campaign based on raw, uncorroborated information, in this separate matter involving a purported Clinton campaign plan, the FBI never opened any type of inquiry, issued any taskings, employed any analytical personnel, or produced any analytical products in connection with the information,” the report said.
President Trump has consistently maintained his innocence and reacted to the report in a Monday post to his social media platform Truth Social.
“Wow! After extensive research, Special Counsel John Durham concludes the FBI never should have launched the Trump-Russia Probe! In other words, the American Public was scammed, just as it is being scammed right now by those who don’t want to see GREATNESS for AMERICA!” the 45th President wrote.
