Conservative radio talk show host Alex Jones celebrated Tucker Carlson’s announcement that he will be doing his popular nightly political show from Twitter after being abruptly let go from Fox News a few weeks ago.
According to Jones, Carlson’s Twitter announcement signaled the “death” of mainstream corporate media and the narratives put forth by the Washington establishment.
“Tucker Carlson’s move today to Twitter with Elon Musk is way bigger than Tucker Carlson. It’s about the death of cable media. It’s about the death of the establishment. It’s about the death of the intelligence agencies, of the censorship and the surveillance,” Jones said in a video tweeted on Tuesday night by his wife, Erika Wulff Jones.
“Tucker has 25, 30 million views with videos he now puts out on Twitter. Five or six times what we had on Fox News. The dinosaurs that fired him miscalculated,” Jones said, adding that Carlson’s journalistic endeavors will likely remain independent as his career moves away from cable television.

Jones called Carlson the “archetypal populist” who was targeted for promoting “liberty and freedom, and peace and prosperity” to the displeasure of the establishment-leaning decision makers at Fox News.
“Their attempts to silence him have failed and that just illustrates — there’s not just evil in the universe. There is good as well. And I am so excited about what Tucker is doing,” said Jones. “He can now directly reach out to people and cover things that Fox was surprising.”
The Infowars host pointed out how he accurately predicted Carlson’s departure from Fox News back in March of this year.
“Sure, his contract said he had total freedom. He took a pay cut of two-thirds to tell the truth, but they still tried to control him. Tucker knew he was going to be fired. I predicted it back in March. And now it’s here,” he said.

“He didn’t sell out. I didn’t sell out. You didn’t sell out. We’re not selling out. Our freedoms, our liberty, our ideas of what we stand for are not for sale — and that’s why what Tucker Carlson has done is so beautiful,” Jones added.
Jones also praised African American billionaire and current Twitter CEO Elon Musk for getting “on board with liberty” and knowing “which way the wind is blowing.”
“The globalists are not invincible. In fact, they are very easy to beat if we simply wake up and support freedom, and stand up for basic human liberties, and the basic concepts that make society so successful,” Jones said.
