Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene blasted Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg as a “Soros funded tool” at a pro-Trump protest in New York before the former President’s arraignment.
Hundreds of Trump supporters turned out to a park in New York outside the Manhattan court house where President Trump was going to be arraigned, after he was subject to multiple charges in the state. Gavin Wax, the President of the New York Young Republican Club, helped organise the protest, and revealed that at the very least 500 turned out in support.

One of the speakers at the rally was Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene. While arriving at the pro-Trump protest, MTG was surrounded by reporters, supporters, and counter-protestors, attempting to make her way through the huge crowd with police support. The Georgia Representative received both cheers and boos from Americans of various political stripes.

Speaking to the crowd, Greene said that she had come to New York to protest against “the persecution of an innocent man,” who had had the government weaponised against him:
“I’m here to protest and use my voice to take a stand. Every American should take a stand. This is what happens in communist countries, not the United States of America. We have to take a stand against this injustice and corruption and the communist Democrats. They have taken our legal code, twisted it, manipulated it, and perverted it into something that was never meant to be. Donald J. Trump is innocent! This is election interference!”
Greene proceeded to blast Alvin Bragg, the District Attorney that brought the charges against President Trump, as “nothing but a George Soros funded tool,” at the pro-Trump protest, who was being used by the Democrats “to try and hijack the 2024 presidential election”:
“This is a travesty, and I am here as a Representative and a member of Congress to take a stand using my First Amendment rights to speak out against this. This should never happen in America, ever, and every single American should be concerned. They’re coming after President Trump today, and they will come after you tomorrow. President Trump did nothing wrong!”

The Georgia Representative argued that the arrest was arranged because the Democrats have “nothing to campaign on” for 2024. “For six years they have lied, and said that President Trump would be a threat to democracy, but the real threat to democracy is today, when they are arresting him. I cannot believe that this is happening,” she added.
“Democrats are the ones that have nothing to campaign for, and they’re failures, and they’re proving it today,” Greene concluded, thanking Wax and the New York Young Republicans for organising the protest, and all the “patriotic Trump supporters” who turned out. Wax began a chant of “USA,” which echoed through the crowd.

Other speakers at the rally included conservative commentator Jack Posobiec, who declared that Biden and the Democrats are “terrified of free Americans… having a voice, and that’s why they’re tring to put a gag order” on President Trump.
“To all the New Yorkers and the free Americans gathered here today, they can gag Donald Trump, but they can’t gag all of us, and they will not gag all of us!” Posobiec told the crowd. “We will be heard and we will not stop!”

Following the protest, Wax spoke exclusively to Valiant News. “Today’s protest I would describe as a massive success,” Wax said. “The park that we met at was directly across from the Manhattan courthouse, and was the size of a large city block, but it was completely filled with Trump supporters.”
“There were press and counter protestors of course, but we outnumbered them about 10 to 1,” he added. “It was a great turnout, and we had some great speakers, including Marjorie Taylor Greene, and we’re very happy that it went off without a hitch.”
