Republican political operative Roger Stone is floating the idea of 45th President Donald Trump tapping Robert F. Kennedy Jr. to join his ticket for 2024 in what Stone described as a “national unity ticket” that could bring Republicans and Democrats together.
Kennedy, a vaccine skeptic, sharp critic of the Covid-19 vaccines, and the nephew of 35th President John F. Kennedy, launched his campaign for the Democratic Party’s nomination for president last week, challenging incumbent Joe Biden.
Speaking to 1776LIVE, Stone praised Kennedy for his “courage” and his “position on the safety and lack of effectiveness and danger of” vaccines, including the COVID-19 jabs.
“I read his book, The Real Anthony Fauci–it’s a masterpiece. He nails it. His documentary, his companion documentary is the same. He has a very uphill climb within the Democratic Party because those who run the party have already demonstrated that they will cheat. They cheated Bernie Sanders twice, and Bernie like takes it. ‘Oh yeah, I’m endorsing Hillary.’ That’s the moment I lost all respect,” Stone said.
“He let them kneecap him and then, like a little cuck, he endorsed Hillary Clinton as opposed to doing what Ron Paul did when he was defeated by Mitt Romney.”

Stone stressed that Kennedy will be challenged with getting the 2024 Democratic nomination because, in his view, the decision makers in the party are quietly planning to put Michelle Obama in the White House, who some conservatives have nicknamed “Big Mike.”
“Very soon, Barack will be calling Joe and saying: ‘Joe. You’re not running. And if you do run, if you don’t drop, we are going to remove you under the 25th Amendment. I will convene a majority of the cabinet and the Vice President, who is sitting here with me, and you’re out. You and Jill are out.’ And Joe will really have no choice,” Stone said.
“He will either have to drop or they will remove him under the 25th Amendment, that’s just my opinion. And then they move in their real candidate,” Stone added, noting that Biden just recently announced that he would delay his 2024 campaign launch until much later this year.
“That’s a guy who’s not running,” Stone said of Biden. “So, I think they put Michelle Obama in.”

Stone said that the Democratic Party may attempt to “block” Kennedy from the ballot in state contests and, potentially, from participating in debates. Stone made a point that the party has long strayed left from the beliefs held by the more traditional Democratic 35th President of the United States.
The Republican operative then detailed a potential Trump-Kennedy “unity ticket” for 2024:
“Play this out for a minute, just hypothetically. [Kennedy] runs, they kneecap him. He still runs better than anybody expects, he gets about a third of the vote in all of the primaries and caucuses where he can get on the ballot, but he doesn’t win,” Stone said.
“Donald Trump meanwhile just plays rope-a-dope with little Ron DeSantis, just destroys him. Ends DeSantis’ political career. Just makes a fool out of him. He romps to the nomination,” Stone continued.
“Trump now goes to the Republican National Convention and says, ‘We’re at a time of unparalleled crises where the country faces extraordinary peril. It’s time for a national unity ticket that has both Republicans and Democrats and therefore I am going to offer the Vice Presidential nomination to Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and call on the Republican Convention to nominate a Democrat. So suspend the rules to nominate a Democrat.’ That takes care of Trump’s vaccination problem like that,” said Stone.
“And those Democrats who feel disenfranchised in the Democratic nomination process, they will follow Robert Kennedy.”
