In a reaction to the revelation that Fox News had fired Tucker Carlson on Monday morning, 2024 Democratic Presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. theorized that the network had canned Carlson for exposing Big Pharma.
Kennedy noted in a Monday tweet that Fox fired Carlson just five days after he crossed the “red line” by revealing that mainstream media networks shilled COVID-19 vaccines to “please” Big Pharma advertisers like Pfizer.
“Fox fires @TuckerCarlson five days after he crosses the red line by acknowledging that the TV networks pushed a deadly and ineffective vaccine to please their Pharma advertisers,” wrote Kennedy, the nephew of 35th President John F. Kennedy.

“Carlson’s breathtakingly courageous April 19 monologue broke TV’s two biggest rules: Tucker told the truth about how greedy Pharma advertisers controlled TV news content and he lambasted obsequious newscasters for promoting jabs they knew to be lethal and worthless,” Kennedy added.
“For many years, Tucker has had the nation’s biggest audience averaging 3.5 million — 10 times the size of CNN. Fox just demonstrated the terrifying power of Big Pharma.”

Kennedy had notably made an appearance on Carlson’s show after announcing his 2024 presidential challenge against Joe Biden on April 19.

While some have pointed to Carlson’s critical coverage of Big Pharma as the reason for his departure, sources cited by the LA Times claim Carlson was reportedly ousted from the cable television news network by Fox Corporation Chairman Rupert Murdoch over his narrative-challenging coverage of the January 6 riot and suspected law enforcement asset Ray Epps.
The Times claimed to have spoken with “people familiar with the situation who were not authorized to comment publicly,” and reported that Fox’s decision to give Carlson the boot came straight from Murdoch himself.
The Times reported that Murdoch’s decision was related to Abby Grossberg’s discrimination lawsuit. Murdoch was additionally concerned over Carlson’s coverage of the January 6 protest-turned Capitol riot in 2021, including his reporting on evidence that the riot was provoked by suspected undercover federal assets like Ray Epps.

Since nixing Carlson’s show this morning, Fox Corporation has lost nearly a billion dollars in stock value in just a few hours.
Carlson began his media career in the 1990’s and has had shows on multiple cable television news networks spanning from CNN, PBS, and MSNBC before joining Fox News in 2009.
The host ascended into political stardom in the years leading up to the first episode of “Tucker Carlson Tonight” in November of 2016, which quickly turned into one of the nation’s most popular news broadcasts in American history.
