Rep. Jim Jordan remains steadfast in his endorsement of 45th President Donald Trump, and told Fox News that even the criminal indictment against the former president did not dampen his enthusiasm.
Jordan spoke to the established Republican outlet ahead of his speech yesterday at the National Rifle Association convention, where the crowd also booed former Vice President Mike Pence.
“No one has demonstrated that they will do what they said and get things done like he did, and he did it with everyone in that town against him. And that’s what I still respect about President Trump, and I’m for him all the way,” Jordan told Fox News Digital.
Jordan acknowledged that he “liked” the other likely candidates in attendance – both Gov. Ron DeSantis and Pence delivered speeches – he remains confident in the former president.
“I just talked to Vice President Pence. Great guy,” he continued, “Governor DeSantis, a great guy. When we formed the Freedom Caucus, there were nine of us. He was one of the nine. But I am 100% for President Trump.”
Though Trump delivered a speech at the NRA event, Jordan seemed to serve as an unofficial surrogate for the campaign.
‘HE DID’.
Perhaps one of the best explanations you’ll hear in regards to all the tremendous accomplishments @realDonaldTrump was able to achieve during his presidency.

Jordan has emerged as Trump’s top Congressional defender against Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg, whose case against Trump is believed to be political by the majority of Republicans.
His support for Trump has found him in a legal battle with Bragg, as the New York politician remains unwilling to allow Congressional oversight over the Trump case. Bragg has since sued Jordan, claiming the House Judiciary leader is attempting to intimidate him.
Recently, Jordan held an unprecedented Congressional “field hearing” in Manhattan to hear about the high crime rate from residents.
Central to Trump’s agenda, Jordan is also also leads the new House committee examining how the federal government has been weaponized by partisan Democrats to hamstring and silence Republicans.
