Trump took to his website Truth Social last Thursday, to express his disagreement with McCarthy.
McCarthy expressed his viewpoint last week on the killing of Babbitt during the Jan 6. election protests at the US Capitol in 2021.

“I think the police officer did his job,” McCarthy replied.
The events that led to the shooting of Ashli Babbitt, and the exoneration of the officer who killer her, have been the subject of much heated debate within the Republican Party.
Prior to Thursday’s remarked, McCarthy had not offered up his opinion on the killing of Babbittt two years prior.
As Valiant News previously reported, McCarthy revealed he had “dinner” with billionaire Klaus Schwab at the World Economic Forum in 2018 during remarks he made on a panel with Mitch McConnell’s wife, Elaine Chao, a shipping heiress of Chinese descent.
