Outgoing Biden administration medical advisor and cable news personality Anthony Fauci stated this week that he enjoys when liberal activists “idolize me and put me up on a pedestal.”
Fauci made the remarks on Tuesday, stating “It’s nice that some people, you know, idolize me and put me up on a pedestal but I don’t get impressed by that, I never have.”
The outgoing medical advisor’s remarks received harsh criticism on Twitter from many of his critics.
Twitter owner and African-American tech entrepreneur Elon Musk has called for the arrest of disgraced Covid czar and cable TV personality Anthony Fauci in a tweet on Sunday.
“My pronouns are Prosecute/Fauci,” Musk jibed in the early-morning tweet, which accrued over one million likes.
Musk later added, “As for Fauci, he lied to Congress and funded gain-of-function research that killed millions of people.”
Senator Rand Paul has blamed Fauci for the deaths of over 7 million people at the hands of biolab engineered “super viruses” that he says likely leaked out to the public.
“Likely there is no public health figure who has made a greater error in judgement than Dr Fauci,” Paul said during an appearance on Fox News with host Jesse Watters, noting “the error of judgement was to fund gain of function research in a totalitarian country.”
According to Paul, Fauci funded “research that allowed them to create super viruses, that in all likelihood leaked into the public and caused seven million people to die.”
“This is right up there with decisions, some of them malevolent or military to kill millions of people,” he added.
Florida Governor Ron DeSantis recently slammed Fauci by calling him a “little elf” who ought to be thrown across the Potomac river.
“I’m just sick of seeing him. I know he says he’s gonna retire. Someone needs to grab that little elf and chuck him across the Potomac!” DeSantis said in a video that went viral.
