Anti Defamation League (ADL) head Jonathan Greenblatt stated that Ye, formerly known as Kanye West, will continue to spread anti-Semitic myths if “we don’t get him” during an interview with Charlamagne tha God on the Breakfast Club Power podcast.
Throughout the show, the two discussed anti-black racism, anti-Semitism, Ye, and controversial outspoken NBA player Kyrie Irving.
At one point during the podcast, Charlamagne asked Greenblatt about Ye’s remarks about Jews, and the backlash the artist has faced since making the remarks.

“What do you say to people who say, you know, y’all are proving somebody like Kanye right? Cause Kanye says, ‘Hey, Jewish people have all the power,’ and then he loses everything,” Charlamagne asked Greenblatt.
“Well, look. The insidious, the insidious nature of antisemitism and these tropes about power, is that Kanye can say these things — ‘Jews have all the power, they’re controlling everything,’ and if we don’t get him, you know, if we don’t deal with that, the myth spreads and takes root,” Greenblatt replied.
“If we do address that and there’s consequences, he says ‘Aha! Proves my point!’ So it’s kind of a damned if you do, damned if you don’t scenario and we’re kind of stuck. We can’t ignore it, cause it has, again, consequences. And if it gets addressed, he says ‘See! Proves my point.’ But I mean, that’s the insidious and ugly nature of antisemitism.”
Valiant News previously reported that Ye accused Daily Wire founder Ben Shapiro of fomenting a “mental health” suicide “narrative” about him that could potentially be used as an assassination cover story.
Ye’s accusations against Shapiro were levied during an interview with former Fox News host Gavin McInnes on his video network, Censored.tv. It was recorded last weekend and released Monday evening.
“Ben Shapiro is running this narrative that I’m gonna kill myself, and he’s like ‘oh due to his mental health he’s gonna kill himself,’” the artist began.

Ye told McInnes, “That way if they did attempt to kill me, like they did Michael Jackson, or JFK, or Aaron Carter, the guy who wanted to talk to me about the Harley Pasternak situation — If they did do that, they would say ‘oh it’s Ye’s mental health.’”
Ye appeared to be referencing recent comments made by Shapiro, who previously suggested on his show that the “Runaway” songwriter may harm himself or commit suicide due to mental health issues.
Ye was referencing Shapiro's apparent suggestion that the he might commit suicide in light of his controversial remarks about Jewish people.

“I would not be surprised, God forbid, something should happen, that Ye should do something to himself given his behavior,” Shapiro said, suggesting that Ye’s critical remarks about Jews could be indicative of some sort of mental health decline.
