Video has emerged showing Democratic House Rep. Lois Frankel threatening political retaliation against the owners of a Florida diner that posted a campaign flyer for Frankel’s opponent.
The video was recorded in June of this year, according to Human Events, and surfaced last month only to be used by Frankel’s political opponent.
Frankel had apparently been a regular patron to the diner, according to City Diner owner Richard Kline, but became livid after seeing a poster for her Republican opponent Deborah Adeimy.
Apparently, the poster includes the sentence “Retire Lois Frankel,” and Kline believes a customer alerted Frankel to its presence.
“She didn’t come to eat,” Kline told Human Events. “Because she comes with her elderly mother when she comes to eat. She was looking for that picture.”
The altercation recorded in the video apparently began moments before the filming, when the restaurant owner’s son heard shouting and began filming after discovering the Democrat arguing about politics.
“I’m gonna make sure that every one of my clients knows exactly what you’ve been doing here,” Frankel said in the video.
Kline retorted, “I’m not allowed to vote for who I want?” He added, “I should be put down for that? I have Sean Hannity come in here, I have a lot of conservative people.”
“No,” said Frankel, before appearing to take a photo of the picture with her iPhone. “I’m just gonna tell you something, that I’m,” she added, “I’m never coming in.”
“You’re telling me to come in for business when you’re campaigning against me?”
At this point Frankel continued arguing with Kline, repeatedly opening the front door and starting to leave the premises before walking back inside the continue the tense affair.
“Listen, listen, listen, Mr. Trump,” she shot at Kline, apparently using the 45th president’s name as an insult. “I’m never coming in! I’m never coming in, that’s all.”
